Bit of an angry outburst on Twitter. Hopefully the link will work.

Trigger warning - this gets very nasty, very quickly.

Given Fae's past track record of defending extreme pornography (including porn involving fantasies about killing and dismembering real women then having sex with the body parts) [note to our Twitter watchers - this is all a matter of public record, Fae maintains a webpage with lists of articles written both under the name Fae and under Fae's previous name] personally if I were in the LGB Alliance, I'd be feeling pretty pleased to have rattled Fae's cage. A kind of "right side of history" feeling pleased. Or at least "right side of actually possessing a moral compass" sort of pleased.

Oh wow

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 26/10/2019 22:48

Im sure someone more erudite then I will be along in a minute

But thats all I’ve got

Oh wow 😳

OneTerrificMouse · 26/10/2019 22:49

Why would you 'unroll' a twitter thread that virtually nobody gave a shit about?

Is this a narcissist thing? Assuming everyone is hanging onto your every word?

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 26/10/2019 22:50

barbara

Oh gross

There we go...virtually a sentence, oh wow and oh gross

BarbaraStrozzi · 26/10/2019 22:52

Fae's articles under Fae's "deadname" are still freely available on the Guardian's website, btw.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 26/10/2019 22:54

Oh deary me, someone is having a bad day.

For anyone who's ever witnessed what happens when someone tries to leave their abuser this may all seem a bit familiar. I read it with the sound of slamming doors and plates being thrown at walls in the back of my mind.

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 26/10/2019 22:56

Yeah youre all right, you’ve not exactly sold them to me

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 26/10/2019 22:58

Do you enjoy purple prose praising perversions? If so give them a read! If not you're not missing anything.

ShesDressedInBlackAgain · 26/10/2019 23:00

Um...

I love how Fae has shown what Fae really thinks of lesbians and gay men here but is too dim to realise and has then spent the rest of the afternoon tweeting that we don't get the satire. Brilliant.

I suspect a lot of Wine and possibly something stronger - perhaps the heady moral high ground conferred by being the most oppressed minority ever and therefore not...driving a hybrid and going to festivals is it? Grin

Pota2 · 26/10/2019 23:02

So homophobic. Disgusting.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 26/10/2019 23:02

I think my favorite bit was observing a middle aged, relatively well off, class privileged white person complaining that the LGB Alliance is led by middle aged, well off, class privileged white people. No U?

KatvonHostileExtremist · 26/10/2019 23:02

Offft, someone's very angry

ShesDressedInBlackAgain · 26/10/2019 23:04

Yeah i liked that too kittens Grin

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 26/10/2019 23:04

Well I haven’t read 50 shades so that might be an indication of my purpke prose praising perversions tolerance

boatyardblues · 26/10/2019 23:04

U ok hun?

As others have said, someone’s cage is rattled. What a nasty little rant. When someone shows you who they are...

MrGsFancyNewVagina · 26/10/2019 23:08

The spit (or something) must have hitting the screen when that demented diatribe was being hammered into the keyboard. I actually got bored halfway through.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 26/10/2019 23:10

Actually, and I say this with full awareness of how damning it is, I think the woman who wrote 50 Shades may be a better writer. Certainly one with broader appeal to a female audience.

ScrimshawTheSecond · 26/10/2019 23:10

privileged superannuated middle-aged white folks with established careers

NotTerfNorCis · 26/10/2019 23:10

Trying hard to be funny but totally missing the mark... Just like when Fae tries to be feminist.

boatyardblues · 26/10/2019 23:11

Kittens 🔥🔥🔥

ShesDressedInBlackAgain · 26/10/2019 23:12

I'm a pretty good reader and I just about followed the thread of what Fae was trying to say. But WineWineWine very clearly.

ScrimshawTheSecond · 26/10/2019 23:14

Because for sure Oxbridge educated, white, middle-aged folks does not equal 'privileged'.

Matereality · 26/10/2019 23:20
Shock

That's properly disturbing.

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 26/10/2019 23:22

From the look of the twitter thread it’s probably not difficult
