I've named changed. (Think someone else must also be "on the naughty step" as that one wasn't available). I've had two deletions and warnings in 24 hours. The second was a simple reference to a person using a newly popular nickname. Definitely feels like someone is watching, reporting and looking out for particular users.

In better news a joke meme I posted on twitter and spinster has found its way to a certain farm. I truly feel like kudos over there is my finest moment on the Internet!

Yes I did! I will get instantly banned if I ever do anything wrong again. It's weird - I've been here 14 years, and I've had a fair few deletions in that time. And then three strikes in ONE WEEK! Most mysterious

I suspect that a system which relies on the quantity of user reports works well on other parts of the site but can be manipulated by people trying to pick off individual posters on FWR.

It seems a bit odd that it happened to at least 3 posters in a single week

I think FWR generally is being targeted but picking off certain posters is a good start.

I suspect there's some random trawling going on too, alongside the targeting. Whenever anyone bolds me or any of my posts now, I stop and make sure I recognise the user name before I respond. Which is sad but here we are.
