They both were/are so self absorbed and totally well xxxxxx xxxxx (words I can't say within guidelines).
Exhibition of this sort absolutely thrives on the thrill of being discovered.
That's why it's done at work/on the train etc. It needs a potential audience.
Do these people ever consider the harm of that potential audience if they were to be interrupted in their "hobby"?
No. All they care about is being "kink shamed".
They are no different to flashers in a park.
Any "kink" that depends on the risk that a non consenting child/adult might be privy sexual activity is a form of assault.
It's not kink shaming. I hate that term.
Do what you want with consenting adults in the privacy of your own home but as soon as you start to rely on potential non consenting bystanders being a crutch to getting a hard on - it's a hard pass.
It's about utterly inappropriate behaviour that in most cases is illegal.
