Excellent article about the growing numbers of detransitioners featuring Charlie Evans.

Tavi & Port in utter denial.

how amazing is Charlie?
She is stunning and brave. In the literal way.

The more people who transition will mean more will want to detranistion. That’s just basic logic but some loons on the fringe think this never happens

I used to teach in Sixth Form and I had a trans student in my tutor group who was born female and transitioned to male by having a double mastectomy at 18 1/2 after 3 years of counselling and with full parental support and within 9 months of surgery was crying and saying life was ruined and wanted to be female again. More counselling and then upset she did not have boobs anymore and wanted further surgery. Through this period of time was claiming to be suicidal too. The mother came to parents evening and said she was worried about her child's grades in all subjects. I told her I was actually more worried about her child taking her own life.

They now have a record number of referrals and see 3,200% more patients than they did 10 years ago - with the increase for girls up by 5,337%. With referrals at a record high, it suggests cases of detransition will rise too.

I found this extract from the Sky report very illuminating. Surely the GIDS at The Tavistock must have considered why there was such a steep rise in numbers and that some of them were possibly people who were experiencing something else alongside/other than gender dysphoria?

If being 'true trans' means having a soul born in the opposite sex body, then the only way to be true trans is for it to be a religious experience so it should be without the realms of the medical industry

Well, that’s essentially how MP Layla Moran describes it. She can ‘see souls’ so knows when someone’s transgender.
