TRAs can't seriously be planning to disrupt this event as well? I know they'll sink pretty low, but...

I'd put money on some of them wanting to. These are the people they most need to silence, as they show up the holes in the ideology; and some of the TRAs have shown repeatedly that they have no concept of bad optics/negative publicity.

I spend too much a lot of time on Twitter. Judging from what I've seen, I think they will try to protest.

People are being hurt and damaged in the name of ‘inclusion’. What kid/teen really really understands that forever is forever?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if they tried to protest it. They won't frame it as "we hate detransitioners" as that sounds bad. They'll say something like "these people are transphobes who were never really trans and this is a front to attack trans people"

Very ready any time to contribute to a crowdfunder for a detransitioner to sue, as I'm scared stiff about what the future holds about what the extent of the damage may be. Not just discovering the real shattering loss of fertility and childbearing which often hits women hard in their 30s, but how many will be left with chronic illnesses, brittle bones, struggling to earn a living, and that's without the emotional struggles of hair loss and all the rest of it. Some may well need major compensation pay outs to have a chance at getting through their adult lives.

It the political TRA lobby is really stupid enough to picket and scream abuse at people concerned over detransitioners and their needs then that will finish off any credibility left. Only a cult freaks out and shuns cult leavers.

Mermaids, the NHS, the NSPCC and all the rest of the wokerati that claim to give a fuck about young people and are all paid to support them, start swiftly and massively bigging up this new charity in the interests of helping this under-served, unsupported group of desisting and detransitioned young people,

• if they don’t welcome this group and support them- then we absolutely know we are dealing with a political movement about promoting men’s sexual entitlement and that will mean that these organisations will be saying that they are absolutely fine with turning naïve kids’ bodies into collateral damage for political propaganda purposes.

I would be so happy to be shown that all of these years on here we have all have been wrong about all this and that these groups are genuinely all out there working hard for the interests of children and young people.

Sorry to have used the word ‘naïve’ above I meant it in the sense of innocent and (absolutely understandably) trusting. There’s no way any child or young person could be, or should have to be, clued up enough or powerful and together enough to reject the advice of all these professional organisations and authority figures claiming to have their interests at heart, that should have been safeguarding them.

Young people over 18 are even more vulnerable than younger ones as there is even less mental health evaluation in adult gender services.

And the reason the Tavi says they "rarely see" regret is that they do not follow up their patients when they leave the service. Duh!!

And that’s the fucking point. These poor people have damaged or mutilated their bodies because they believed that they were trans. Often whilst still of an age where they are believed to be too young to understand the damage that smoking a cigarette could do.

And then it turns out that they are not trans after all. As stated by the trans activists.

Maybe this is evidence that we need to stop all treatment for under 18s until we have a way of identifying the “true trans”. As opposed to those who are gender non conforming, gay, autistic or just finding puberty difficult. (I would have fitted nicely into the last group.)

Exactly! Clearly these young people were not actually trans, but genuinely thought at the time that they were. Hence all young people should be protected from irreversible treatment.

If being 'true trans' means having a soul born in the opposite sex body, then the only way to be true trans is for it to be a religious experience so it should be without the realms of the medical industry.

If it means having gender dysphoria, then it should include these women who are detransitioning because despite still having gender dysphoria, they've discovered the lie that hormones and surgery is the answer.

John Hopkins stopped performing "sex change" surgery because the outcomes were so poor, dysphoria was not fixed and suicide attempts increased. This was known about in the 1980s and yet we've returned to experiments but this time on children as well.
