If I have to hold my bladder whilst waiting to find a proper public toilet, then so can men! Why do men think they can just piss wherever they want, whenever they want. HOLD IT FOR 10 MINUTES LIKE THE OTHER HALF OF HUMANITY!

Gross. Quite apart from everything else they are an absolute eyesore. And the smell?? Why the hell does everyone else have to be subjected to men urinating in public?

Presumably the screens are missing to stop people behaving even worse, out of sight.

I could tolerate this if
It led to there being more female toilets (as men would need fewer)
There was an elementary screen
They didn't smell.

I’ve never used a shewee. Does it involve pulling your trousers and pants down? Unzipping/unbuttoning? I certainly wouldn’t feel safe doing that out in the street.

Maybe men who can’t hold it until they can get to a public toilet should get themselves those bags with a tube that straps to their legs. If they really must let the world know their penis is functioning they can wear a sticker that says “I’m peeing, but you ain’t seeing”

They will close the public toilets as a cost saving measure because men no longer need them.

Men like to piss and spit in the street. Like they just can't control themselves.

Men are given ample provision because

1. Things are done with them in mind
2. If nothing available they piss on the street

Women are not considered. Obv. Outdoors is for men...

Given the different biological and sociological needs, if there's are limited resources, it would make more sense to build facilities for women and a a accept some men pissing in the street.

Why do men need to piss in the street, whether urinal or wall?

Surely the solution is not to provide urinals, but to train men that pissing in public is not socially acceptable? Why does an expensive solution need to be provided to validate their behaviour, when it is the behaviour that is wrong?

Surely on the spot fines would have more impact, and make money for councils, rather than costing.

Exactly this. Men will piss anywhere because they can. Male entitlement 101. One of my earliest memories of going shopping with my parents on a Saturday involved walking down flights of stairs in a multi storey car park that reeked of piss. Just today we were driving home from holiday in the Westcountry and I watched a man in a lay by casually adopt the piss stance next to his car.

Meanwhile, at the motorway services, my daughter is 7 and has already learned that there’s always a queue for the ladies but never the mens. Perhaps if we too started pissing in the corner, they’d increase facilities available to women.
