Inside the secret world of incels

Watching on catch up, has anyone else seen this?

It's a very disturbing insight into the incel 'communities', the deep rooted hatred of females is palpable, and it is all sexually motivated, all because women either have rejected them sexually or have no interest in them.

They have mothers, sisters for some etc, what has gone so wrong?

I personally could never identify as an incel, but it's easy to see how some men become that way.

We're constantly told that men 'have it easier' so it must be difficult if you're one of the men that doesn't - especially as men seem to be both very overrepresented at the top and the bottom (e.g. homeless people etc).

Then you start reading how young women earn more than young men etc despite many thinking otherwise and it's easy to start feeling resentment.

'Class analysis' - it comes across as a poor veneer to mask their sexism.

ShortCircuit181 · 29/08/2019 18:07

100% in agreement, Sawdust.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 29/08/2019 19:03

So Feminism is sexism against men? Good to know where you're coming from.

Strawman, I did not say all incels are murderers. Are you aware that many incels celebrated Rogers act & called him a hero for it though? I have seen posts on incel forums of men boasting about sexually assaulting a woman on public transport 'as revenge' and other incels encouraging this. Also boasting about acts of domestic violence towards female family members. Incels might see themselves as victims, but like other groups of men, they continue to victimise women (& possibly children) and are a danger to us.

You sound clueless about the topic, but after a cursory Google search have decided you are qualified to argue with me on the topic. Typical male arrogance. I find men defending other trash men boring & irksome. You are basically doing 'not all men' which is a way of gaslighting women about the harms men as a class do to us. Please stop standing up for the dregs of society.

Trohmaniac · 29/08/2019 19:20

Also boasting about acts of domestic violence towards female family members.

I've seen this stuff on Twitter this week - the targeting and harassment of certain women on there is disgusting (although not surprising).

And here, on a board dedicated to discussing feminism and women's rights we have two men on various threads telling us we're sexist for centring women.

You can't make this stuff up.

FWRLurker · 29/08/2019 22:23

Wow such backslapping and congratulatory man-Ning going on here. “Hmm yes mr also-a-man, I too concur that feminism has gone too far and that men are the real victims.”

BatShite · 30/08/2019 12:43

IMO to actively call ones self an 'icel' shows already, that you are an eneitled dickhead.

Its possible to be a bloke who doesnt have sex as often as he likes (or ever) without claiming the incel label, thousands of men do it. To 'identify; as an incel, a whole bunch of misogyny is required, along with an entitled mindset, that women are basically there to give you sex. Any woman you fancy should open her legs for you just because, and if she doesnt shes a bitch, frigid, etc etc.

Mumminmum · 31/08/2019 12:33

@ShortCircuit181 Young women do not earn more than young men! Nowhere in the world does this happen! Nowhere! The only business in which women earn more than men is modeling and very few people have that job.

I don't know where you find these crackpot "scientific" studies, but you really need to look elsewhere.

MrGHardy · 31/08/2019 20:04

So what makes you an incel Richard? What exactly is it? I've gone gears without sex, I never once considered labelling myself as an incel. Though then again I find the entire concept of needing labels and identities moronic and pathetic,.but that is a different story.

MrGHardy · 31/08/2019 20:37

@Mumminmum

They do, up to about 30/31 women outearn men in the west. It is a pretty standard finding nowadays.

Whosorrynow · 31/08/2019 22:20

Involuntary celibate makes as much sense as involuntary lonely /unpopular / friendless

It is really not. There was a single report in the Guardian in 2015 about 22-29-yr-old women slightly out-earning their male counterparts, which is then drastically reversed in the 30s and beyond. The evidence overwhelmingly indicates that men are still out-earning women for similar work.

But an imagined view of women as a superior, privileged class is very much a part of incel culture.

Thank fuck @sawdustformypony has popped onto the feminist board to explain it all. And he had the audacity to state a pp was a nutter, riiiight 😂

Mumminmum · 01/09/2019 15:37

@notyourhandmaid A report in the Guardian? Hardly a peer reviewed article then. I'll stick with the scientific studies that have a statistically significant number of participants, thank you very much. All surveys I have read shows that women of all ages are paid less than men all over the world in all jobs except modeling.

notyourhandmaid · 01/09/2019 20:13

@Mumminmum I think they did reference a peer-reviewed study but I'm not sure what the sample size was - agree with you though, everything I've read has indicated men out-earning women and differs only in the size of the gap (larger/smaller depending on the profession and age range, etc), except for modelling. It's very safe to say pay equality is a long way off.

RochelleGoyle · 01/09/2019 22:38

I'm watching it now. They just seem like a bunch of little boys.

Whosorrynow · 01/09/2019 23:02

incells want to enjoy the benefits of modern liberal democracy but they also want the 'benefits' of primitive cultures where men were able to capture wives and women are forced to obey men

are any of them considering relocating to 'traditional' cultures where women have no choice but to accept a male partner?
