Lesbian Strength March and Rally in Leeds on 7 September 2019

I posted a link to this even some time ago and there have been various comments and more recently one for an organiser of the event which has been really interesting.

Then just now mumsnet have deleted it saying it is because it has a go fund me link in it.

Well I posted that some time ago and nobody said anything. And as I have also posted that on a number of other threads I apologise if they get deleted.

What is the problem.

We are trying to support Lesbians and some red tape that users aren't aware of do this hatchet job.

Why didn't you just deleted the post with the go fund me link.

If I believed in conspiracy theories I would say mumsnet has been nobbled by the lesbian erasure strand of transactivism.

Heavy handed and unecessary.

Those who meet the entry requirements for the rally but not the march - lurk at the end, line the route, wander alongside? How do these things work? I have no idea.

You can meet for the rally in Millenium Sq, there will be stewards there to meet women too.

And of course, taking the hint from another FWR thread, will there be public women's toilets or is Leeds so woke they are all gender non conforming.

Maybe we could have a token sit in and reclaim the amenities for women!

We will arrive at the station at about 1pm and happy to meet up with anyone for a snack and drink as we can't stay later. We will have a piece of lavender coloured material with us ..for recognition purposes.

Help! Can you clarify? Have just seen on Feminist Archive North a notice for the March tomorrow saying the rally is in Millennium Square which hasn't been said anywhere else.

So for late arrivers (which my well be me) or women allies wont know this because as far as I know all other publicity has implied march starts and ends in City Square.

If it is ending Millennium Square is there any way of getting this updated on eventbrite, facebook or where ever.

Would be really sad if a group of women is left standing in City Square for a rally happening else where.

Or if Feminist Archive North are wrong then they should be asked to change their notice.

Rally is in Millenium Square, which has been on the posters/ on twitter but I'm sorry if it wasn't clear

Well - I hadn't seen any poster, so glad I happened to see this other post.

I thought the main link was the eventbrite page and not many women are actually on twitter.
