I don’t believe that very many people think the fact of being transgender makes someone a threat.

I think people believe being male puts people into a category that poses a risk. The comparisons you make with gay people and immigrants are invalid.

I have never yet seen an answer to how identifying as a woman means a male person does not fall into that risk category. That is the issue.

RedDogsBeg · 06/08/2019 21:48

Might as well rip up all the laws protecting homosexuality and chuck them in the bin. The cynic in me says this is conscious and deliberate along with removing all safeguarding of children and is the desired end result.

MsMcWibble · 06/08/2019 21:49

Did you read my post above Early?
What brave women. Who would put themselves through that. I'm surprised it was so many.

MsMcWibble · 06/08/2019 21:51

What are you guys doing spending so much time berating these women if what they did was so inconsequential?

Im not I'm watching stranger things it's very good. bed after this though.

sackrifice · 06/08/2019 21:54

that tends to be how you end a debate on here, they really think that if they wear people down they will leave them too it. they really hate when people stay and keep answering there repeated questions.

Did I miss a post where you answered the question i directly asked of you?

Wishihad · 06/08/2019 21:54

Because it's also not inconsequential when it suits, the last thread proved that.

zebrasdontwearbras · 06/08/2019 21:56

A whole parade stopped to condemn them!

Why would anyone at Pride condemn lesbians?

JackyHolyoake · 06/08/2019 21:57

And the number of GC protestors? Around 0.001%?

The correct spelling is "protesters" but never mind!

That is the percentage of lesbians in Leeds who have the courage to stand up for their sexuality as female homosexuals.

It was a lesbian protest, at Pride .. the parade for LGB and since 2015, T, so their heterosexual sisters respected that.

Maybe next time, their heterosexual sisters will stand behind them at Pride. Who knows?

Maybe then we will be able to expose the expanse of citizen misogyny in its totality in Leeds.

Wishihad · 06/08/2019 21:58

@Earlywalker I am glad you are back.

You made a big deal on the last thread that these protestors shouted at a float that they dont belong at pride. Especially in relation to proving that protestors had tried to get people removed from pride. Just like the trans allies tried to have the protestors removed.

But refused to answer which float it was.

And could explain why you feel the fetish float does have a place at pride?

The protestors didnt shout at there was no place for trans people at pride. They shouted it at the fetish float.

Earlywalker · 06/08/2019 22:00

Definitely didn’t make a big deal about it.
Definitely didn’t say they said trans woman weren’t welcome at pride.
Also didn’t refuse to answer which float it was, I even sent you a picture of the float.

Bespin · 06/08/2019 22:01

LGB and since 2015, T,

keep telling yourself that we are a new thing, how do you get 2015. I was at pride far before then.

LGB and since 2015, T,

keep telling yourself that we are a new thing, how do you get 2015. I was at pride far before then.

Stonewall UK adopted and prioritised the T from 2015, after it realised it had no further purpose since same-sex marriage was granted in law.

Follow the money .. as some say!

Wishihad · 06/08/2019 22:05

And I said there I coildnt even make out the float.

You wouldnt answer which float and kept using as a point to prove how intimidating the protestors were.

You brought it up more than once. Making a big deal out of it.

You wont say who they didnt feel should be at pride. Who they are shouting it at, is context.

Shouting fetish play should be at pride is very different to complaining to police that the protesters were a hate group.

So it was the fetish float.

Care to explain why them saying the fetish float doesnt belong there is an issue. If it wasnt an issue it would not have kept being raised.

And if you have an issue with that. Can you explain why you think men engaged in fetish play, is appropriate for a family event
Or got anything to do with sexual orientation?

RosesAndRaindrops · 06/08/2019 22:05

This - it's being re-written, but you're just supposed to ignore that.
I remember you even linked to the float. Didn't refuse to answer at all.

Bespin · 06/08/2019 22:07

although stonewall is quite infulanceal it's not the Lgbt community as a whole. I went to my first pride in 2000 how about you Jacky.

JackyHolyoake · 06/08/2019 22:08

Repeating the definition of "bigot":

Shocking behaviour towards lesbians at Leeds 'pride' today
Wishihad · 06/08/2019 22:08

Didn't refuse to answer at all.

Yep, the photo of the float wasnt clear what it was. There was no 'the shouted it at the fetish float'
If you want to claim the protesters, did something wrong by shouting that. You need to explain it.

Earlywalker · 06/08/2019 22:09

The first time I mentioned the float, 5 people immediately lied and said it was a MAP float.

I said this was untrue. Which most people then eventually agreed with. But you wouldn’t let it go, so I linked the float, took a picture of it for you as you said the video wouldn’t load and even looked up the flags for you.

Don’t tell blatant lies.
