I honestly didn’t realise what was happening until I came over to the Feminist board on MN. The threat is real but very well hidden. A lot of people aren’t informed about what is happening.

I’m also confused when trans is to do with gender why they are now part of the LGB movement which is related to sexuality.

They were brave women indeed, Spartacus. It is not easy to withstand a baying mob (including a high proportion of rather large men, like Richard Firth) yelling at you.

It's Leeds Pride and behaviour at Pride but now it's supposedly about gender dysphoria not being a thing.... so we're back at transpeople are all this again.....

I'm in my mid-40s and my Dad was very involved in a lot of political stuff in the 80s (I marched with the miners during the strike - that sort of thing) and lesbians were always there, on the front line, protesting and making their voices heard.

I have a lot of time for those who are willing to stand up the way that small group did - it took a lot of courage and I applaud them.

And that's what this thread is about.

The only person who is confused and is deliberately obfuscating and chuntering on and on and on about one thing like a dog with a bone is YOU RosesAndRaindrops it is what you always do on every thread you are on, pick one thing and just carp on about it incoherently and endlessly.

Let's try and make things easy for you (and anyone else reading):

The protesters were described as radical in an article about the protest at Leeds Pride.

Posters on FWR wondered what it was about them or what they said that warranted them being labelled radical.

The protesters were stating the factual Legal Definition in UK Law of what a Lesbian is, ergo, they were being radical by stating that definition at a march that purportedly celebrates homosexuals.

Unless of course you can enlighten us otherwise?
