Except equality law, and every actual lesbian

Who are you to say what every ‘actual lesbian’ thinks? Thousands of lesbians attended pride, 10 stood alone and denounced relationships with trans woman.

I think it’s interesting that it’s mainly always older woman at these protests. Just like with gay marriage and rights, the older generations tend to be stuck in their ways while younger people lead the way for change. ‘No no, that’s not the definition of marriage. To give them that takes away what marriage actually means’ they’d say.

Also, I believe by law a transwoman with a GRC is legally a woman. So the law doesn’t always agree with that.

And correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the Equality act also make provisions for ‘presumed discrimination’ anyway. I.e you don’t actually have to be a lesbian to be protected from discrimination from it, the person discriminating just has to think you are?

Wishihad · 06/08/2019 20:33

Jesus wept! wasnt the whole you can be in a relationship with a biological man and be lesbian dealt with on the last thread?

As in, you cant. There is a legal definition. A biological women in a relationship with biological man is a heterosexual relationship.

Words matter. Definitions matter.

RosesAndRaindrops · 06/08/2019 20:33

Why is Bespin being asked a completely different question which is nothing to do with what was said?
If you don't like trans people or want to sleep with them then that's totally fine no one and I mean no one is making you do that. Anyone who makes you sleep with them is wrong. Anyone who does include trans woman in there sexuality as woman is entitled to do so

What has what Karen White is or isn't got anything to do with that highlighted?

zebrasdontwearbras · 06/08/2019 20:34

exellent a servey I'm sure it will be filled out by lots of people who never went to leeds pride as I appear to be one of the only people on this thread who was actually there lol

Part of the baying mob? Yelling at a small group of women asserting that lesbians are female homosexuals.

NeurotrashWarrior · 06/08/2019 20:34

Wishihad this was going on in at least two or three other threads this week.

RosesAndRaindrops · 06/08/2019 20:35

I haven't missed your point, you went from denying it happened to asking why it's bad

Erm, no.

or something
Well, there you go then. What is the bloody point in trying to explain, it's got to be obtuse, I mean FFS lol.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 06/08/2019 20:36

Can you explain one more time, but this time very slowly.
And in rhyme?

Yep, and no matter how many times it continues to happen those 10 will still arrogantly act like they're the voice of lesbians everywhere.

Bespin · 06/08/2019 20:37

on the last thread I talked about what happens when a new generation redefines how they are seen and the effect on the older generation in that community.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 06/08/2019 20:37

Most younger women have children to look after.

Well if you can't get it the first time round or even the second.... doesn't matter how much you spell it people are determined to twist and misunderstand, it's ridiculous.

Bespin · 06/08/2019 20:38

do keep explaining it until you explain it the way they want you too.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 06/08/2019 20:38

And it annoys you so much you keep mentioning it. it's really got under your skin.

Exactly

JackyHolyoake · 06/08/2019 20:40

@NeurotrashWarrior You are most welcome, sister.

Most adult males who "transition" are heterosexual. [c75%]

The remaining 25% are Homosexual Transsexuals [HSTS]. Although it is probable now that fewer HSTS pertain since same-sex marriage has become legal in some countries.

RosesAndRaindrops · 06/08/2019 20:41

That's just it, isn't it?
No questioning.
Take everything as fact
No dissent
Just supposed to ignore blatant lies

If you truly understand something, and are not just parroting words you've heard, you should be able to explain it right down to a child's level in some basic capacity.

The fact that roses can't seem to coherently explain what she actually meant, even though she knows it's been taken out of context really does say a lot.

Plenty of young lesbians were at pride though weren’t they? Just not stood with the 10.

I have young children and if I thought i was the suffragettes take 2 like lots of you clearly do, id certainly ensure I was there.

Bit of a sexist stereotype, any woman under 50 can’t leave the house as they’ve got children. Hmm

Bespin · 06/08/2019 20:43

RosesAndRaindrops

that tends to be how you end a debate on here, they really think that if they wear people down they will leave them too it. they really hate when people stay and keep answering there repeated questions.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 06/08/2019 20:44

Which question are you wanting answered, you've not asked any, you've also been shown countless proof to back up those "lies".

on the last thread I talked about what happens when a new generation redefines how they are seen and the effect on the older generation in that community.

The very reason why new generations [aka younger people] do not hold positions of political and social responsibility. Everyone knows that the brain does not fully mature until about 25 years and that younger people are more susceptible to the influence of grooming by older people.

It's fact women are more likely to be stuck at home with children, even in 2019.
