Except equality law, and every actual lesbian
Who are you to say what every ‘actual lesbian’ thinks? Thousands of lesbians attended pride, 10 stood alone and denounced relationships with trans woman.
I think it’s interesting that it’s mainly always older woman at these protests. Just like with gay marriage and rights, the older generations tend to be stuck in their ways while younger people lead the way for change. ‘No no, that’s not the definition of marriage. To give them that takes away what marriage actually means’ they’d say.
Also, I believe by law a transwoman with a GRC is legally a woman. So the law doesn’t always agree with that.
And correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the Equality act also make provisions for ‘presumed discrimination’ anyway. I.e you don’t actually have to be a lesbian to be protected from discrimination from it, the person discriminating just has to think you are?
