Transparency in terms of GC fundraisers

Obviously a fair bit of money has been raised and there have been some controversies such as Jennifer James admitting borrowing some of the cash for her own use. Thankfully she had the decency to admit that, apologise and seems to keep fairly open and transparent accounts. However, others do not. Would it therefore be a good thing if those who have raised a lot of money through fundraisers were to publish a detailed breakdown of their accounts? I'm sure every penny has gone back into campaigning of course, but by publishing those details it would silence those who maliciously make comments about people using money to pay for holidays etc.

Of course it did

Ouch! I know they say you can’t really tell a person’s mood or intent from the words on a page, as they can often be misconstrued, but....
Ouch! Again! I can actually sense your bitterness. Very strange considering you’re supposed to be worried about all us poor silly women. 🤷‍♀️

I am happy to donate to causes like Maya's and Katie's.
Their cause is my cause.

Where's Minnie gone? I was hoping to discuss right wing and tax payer funding of genderism and the concomitant transparency.

I didn't feel like I had the transparency or control when my money went to the major charities like cancer research, oxfam and nspcc. I give what I can afford when I can Minnie, I'm smart enough to realise there's no formal oversight and I'm relying on trust, there's a risk some will misuse the money I'll live with that.

I'm getting much more out of understanding how and were my money can make a difference and happy this change in my outlook has happened at a time in my life when I have more disposable income. I regret those years I unthinkingly gave to major charities without looking more carefully into how they spent my money.

Another one who had just donated to Kate's cause. As a guide leader I am appalled at how they have been treated and feel voiceless as I can't speak out in case it affects my actual (paid) job. More than happy to give £10 to somebody who is able to stick their head out and stand up for their beliefs.

I'll no doubt get slammed for commenting on this but I did hear about some abuses (plus of course there's all the "you must be funded by right wing Americans".)
So I was reassured to read:

"CrowdJustice is specially tailored for legal action. Unlike other crowdfunding platforms, we handle compliance issues and transfer funds raised to your lawyer directly – you don’t have to handle cash, and your backers know exactly where funds are going"
