I thought I'd start a new thread as the other one doesn't have a clear title.

The Canadian Police have blood on their hands here. They knew about Yaniv. They were repeatedly warned, and we have receipts.

I really wish I hadn't just watched this but it's important we do.

So what about the discrimination against women who don't want to touch a penis or testicles. What about them?!

As a rape victim, to watch someone using such a painful experience to score cheap points that don't make sense is so upsetting. How dare they.

And nobody seems to really push the question avoidance - if you believe something JY, stand up and be counted using a logical argument without smirking, rolling your eyes, playing with your hair and nodding along.

A poster on one of the Yaniv threads criticised BW for being shallow. If all you made of it was criticising her appearance and mannerism that seems pretty shallow.

BW expressed anger at what JY had done to his victims and considerable sympathy for them.

Well, yes - they did know. We all knew. Was Yaniv protected by the magical cloak of identifying as trans? It seems so.

Canadian Police gave Yaniv a police escort, because a journalist was asking them questions. The police escorts were on pushbikes, which has considerable comic value - but even so!

Ever seen, say, a woman get a police escort because she rang and said she didn't feel safe? From a journalist? Women feel genuinely unsafe an awful lot, with very good reason - often as a result of domestic violence or stalking, and would have no chance of police escorts.

I never post in FWR because I’m not as intellectual as all of you. I am all ears and eyes all the time, though. You say what I want to say.

For once I have a little bit to add. Everyone who wears hair extensions has to reposition them constantly. Hair extensions and wigs bunch up if you don’t constantly smooth them out. Obviously TW are going to be wearing fake hair.

I’m not defending them. It’s just what it is.

I first knew of Blaire White when Blaire went after another YouTuber who was commenting on underaged girls’ bodies and bragging that he had a girlfriend who was nineteen but “still underdeveloped.” Blaire posted a drawing of said YouTuber being sodomized by Blaire, and subsequently invited him on Blaire’s channel. That video was exactly like the JY interview. This is what Blaire does. Arguing, pushing the issues, rolling eyes at obvious nonsense. It’s what Blaire is good at. I don’t think Blaire is a wonderful role model or ally, but Blaire does not bother me and occasionally gets things right that very few in the spotlight are getting. One thing to be said for Blaire is that the message is always consistent and Blaire has integrity of beliefs whether misguided or not.

I spit out my drink watching when JY asked to play a recording and Blaire said, “Is it the one of you pretending to be a baby?” It might be my favorite American comedic line of all time.

That was me. I was starting to change my mind watching the Yaniv video. Then White started brushing their hair and doing lipstick mid discussion. Who pauses in the middle of interviewing a potential child abuser to touch up their makeup? Which made me wonder again about how much of this was about making White look good in comparison.

Which is interesting again because Yaniv almost seemed to be parodying White with the wig and the hair fiddling. Was that deliberate? I wouldn't have thought Yaniv bright enough.

It's good to call out a creep, I applaud that. It's good not to be a creep. It's a fairly low baseline.

White's whole logic seems to be based on passing, i.e. appearance again. I think that is faulty. They do pass well, but it's not the fault of other TW that many don't. You can't discriminate on the basis of making an effort, or of passing (when, how, to whom and how do you know?). Of course Yaniv wasn't going to call out that logic because that would require more self awareness than Yaniv has.

She did that whilst he was wittering on. I read it more as showing contempt for him. She was rightfully and righteously angry about his victims but his drivel wasn't worth giving her full attention to.

Why do posters think Yaniv isn't bright? Because he does things that make people dislike him? That's female socialisation speaking.

I think he is perfectly intelligent. He is playing with The System, pushing Canadian law, manipulating rules, challenging people. The taser issue is curious: either an out-of-character slip-up, or another way of demonstrating his untouchableness.

I don't know enough of his pre-trans background to decide whether he is a Fifth Columnist or just a very nasty person. Or perhaps both.

I think he's NOT very bright becasue I've heard him speak and try to pull a coherent argument together, and fail, on a few different occasions.

I dont think he's a stupid as a lot of people think either. Not saying hes a genius but hes not stupid.

The recording he played for example when he dropped his voice - that was very intentional and thought out.

Hes playing the system that the law allows him to play.

Is he a 5th columnist, hes certainly doing more harm than good for trans and self-ID. That could just be to enable him to get away with more and he doesnt care about anyone else.

a) It is impossible to pull a coherent argument together on trans issues, because it is an incoherent and illogical ideology. It is a belief, and no belief can be proven.

b) Why does he need to?

In my experience, people who come across as not so bright are more manipulative. Just my experience.

I'm watching now (not sure I'll make it through the whole thing) and got to a part where Janiv says to BW
"Imagine you are raped, and you're having to go through that trauma and use services for rape victims, well the the problem we have here in Vancouver is that the Vancouver Rape Relief centre is refusing, yes actually refusing to help anyone who is transgender. They're refusing. They actually had their funding stopped "

BW didn't seem to know anything about that, she just said "I doubt trans people will be denied their testing completely" JY said "Well, we are. Don't you think that's a problem?"

Basically if BW knew anything about that she could have set JY straight or even defended Vancouver Rape Releif and Women's Shelter for being a women only service.

Anyone aware of the situation with more than two brain cells will understand that Vancouver Rape Releif should have the right to remain women only, that there are other services for transwomen who are victims of sexual violence in Vancouver, and that the Vancouver Rape Releif and Women's Shelter don't refuse "All people who are transgender" they refuse Males. They should have the right to refuse males from a place where women have been subjected to male violence and sexual violence, the women should have the right not to sleep and shower in the vicinity of people who can use their penis to rape them if they wanted, to be in the company of women only while they recover.

The fact JY clearly enjoys the fact their funding has been stopped, and BW didn't seem to have any idea what's happened there, wound me up a bit. I'm going to make another donation to VRR today.

Anyway. I'll keep watching for a bit.
JY Really is vile. I'd never actually spent time watching/listening to him before. Not sure I can stand it for much longer.

It was hard going but I watched all of it. Yaniv is impervious to criticism. It's amazing really, Yaniv just takes the hits and they roll off again. It's delusional. I appreciate Blaire's upfront, plain english confrontation of the sick things Yaniv has done.

I was annoyed at that too DpWm I don't think it would have taken much to find out all about the Vancouver Rape Relief Centre and turned that into a great point to back up BW's argument, and JY was indeed smirking.

I think JY is smart, super smart, but, only in the same way all bullies are smart. They find the weak spot and needle and needle and needle - JY is useless when on the back foot because JY is not quick of thought.

Though, TBF, I thought JY was tripping on something during the BW interview. There was a lot of blinking and head dipping and zoning out. Maybe JY had taken too much ponstan for JY's period pain.

And she didn’t let him off lightly like the Guardian did!

@vivariumvivariumsvivaria All those behavioural tics of JY's were her checking her social media and other messages, I think. He reminded me of students in class whose eyes would flicker constantly towards their phones. He was constantly distracted and seemed to be reading something on his screen.

Does this person have a job? It's really hard to think of anyone employing him. And I was amazed he was 32 - I thought he was in his fifties.

Also socked at the age. clearly had a hard paper round on the optional mobility scooter
