Telegraph column - not even attempting to hide AGP

It’s behind a paywall, will post screenshots in next post

David Thomas is a 60 year old man, who according to his Telegraph column is still living as a man whatever that means. He is transitioning and he is writing about it in his weekly column. In the past he gave us Not Guilty: The Case in Defence of Men which is described as a rebuttal of feminist charges against men. So I think he’s established his misogyny credentials, which raises the question of why he wants to transition to emulate womanhood?

It’s so clear from the above article that it’s sexual arousal. He talks about his growing breasts in a clearly lascivious way. It’s not even gently disguised or denied. The AGP is front and centre in the article.

Yet we’re still not allowed to discuss it. We’re not allowed to point out that many men get off on the idea of being seen as a woman. They talk about it openly but the activists who seek to remove women’s rights shout us down as bigots for daring to raise it.

Those who are still championing the be nice/what harm can it do still seem to deny that it’s a driver. How? When it is this blatant how can it not be openly discussed and the risks/behaviours openly managed or challenged.

However frightened women may be by our presence, we are way, way more petrified by having to be there.

Oh ffs. He's frightened of being stared at, maybe a snigger.

We're frightened of being attacked, raped, or even killed.

This is what they don't get their fucking heads around. At the very least, a man in a female space is disregarding boundaries. Women know, a zillion percent, what a disregarding boundary man feels like.

There is a path, a path that many women recognise. And boundary violation is the first step.

As soon as he sets foot on that step, he has stepped out of the 'I have no reason to think this is man is a risk' cohort.

But yes, it's exactly the same as being stared at by the cohort that constitutes almost zero risk.

Men kill women, women don't kill men.

Wanker.

They wouldn't jerk off to gay male porn.

Exactly. That's the acid test.

Teaandcrisps · 03/08/2019 11:48

Creepy

Fieldofgreycorn · 03/08/2019 12:10

They wouldn't jerk off to gay male porn. They jerk off to straight porn and imagine they are the woman in the scenario.

Sticking with your typology, HSTS likely don’t prefer gay male porn because they don’t want to be seen as a man. They want to be desirable to a straight man.

Is there a name for a Venn diagram where the circles don't even touch? Grin

nicenewdusters · 03/08/2019 12:23

Maybe one that says radical trans ideology and the other biological truth?

sackrifice · 03/08/2019 12:24

Did someone say Venn diagram?

They are men when they want their inheritance or higher pay scales.
They are women when they want access to female spaces.
They are trans women when they want victim status and to claim the most oppression ever.

And they are enabled by our lawmakers.
I really, really can't get my head around the idea that a man with an out-of-control fetish should be 'treated as a woman' if that's what he wants and he can convince some panel to give him a certificate that says he's a woman.
Fuck this shit, honestly.

nicenewdusters · 03/08/2019 12:52

sackrifice I have a horrible feeling that some wokey blokey at Stonewall is currently working on a way to make the "being a man" and "being a lesbian" intersect. Let's face it, with DoubleThink/DoubleSpeak it's not really that much of a leap Sad

ThePurported · 03/08/2019 12:55

Oh yeah, and teaching girls that if they happen to encounter a bloke in the women's, they should just assume that the bloke is more frightened of them than they of him? No. Just no.

TimeLady · 03/08/2019 13:00

Ah, so he's said he wants to shag a straight man? And presumably he's envisaging being seduced by a hot-bodied toy boy, not a desperate geriatric with arthritic knees and a dodgy ticker?

Fieldofgreycorn · 03/08/2019 13:14

HSTS? Do you mean homosexual transexual? To simplify, then... Well, presumably, they would find an attractive naked solo man attractive, then. In and of himself.

Yes.

Fieldofgreycorn · 03/08/2019 13:15

I don’t know about this one TimeLady.

CatalogueUniverse · 03/08/2019 13:23

I’m not sure the attractiveness of the man who is there to have sex with them as a woman matters that much to AGP. The sex is all about them and the validation of their womanhood.

Anne Lawrence calls this pseudobisexuality. It's a tough concept to get your head around but once it clicks, it makes complete sense.

Datun · 03/08/2019 13:45

It makes complete sense to me. The man is there to make the transwoman feel a certain way.

I don't think, as a concept, it particularly bothers me, other than how one labels it. Heterosexual sex, it isn't.

Lordamighty · 03/08/2019 17:26

I’m sure that heterosexual males will be queuing up to date DT when he has finished transitioning. I mean, why wouldn’t they?
The poor lamb is going to so disappointed.

nicenewdusters · 03/08/2019 17:33

To reference India Willoughby again in the BB house. They were enraged and confused that the hetereosexul men in the house showed no interest in them as a potential partner.

He said in his column that he’ll have lots of suitors because he knows both the offside and lbw rules Hmm

So do I, but I never met a man who wanted to discuss them once we were down to our pants.

XXcstatic · 03/08/2019 18:51

I too am dismayed that the Telegraph is running this, and the language it is using. "Becoming a woman" is gaslighting bullshit as a man cannot "become" a woman. He is very clearly an AGP who gets off on the idea of him as his own ideal woman

I am sure his column is peak-transing Telegraph readers by the hundred. People are not stupid - you don't need to have heard of AGP to pick up on the creepiness of a 60 year old man being turned on by growing teenage girl breasts.

Jaxhog · 03/08/2019 18:54

I am surprised the T has this column too. The words and terms he uses are at best creepy, and at worst really grotesque.
