Any Irish feminists who might be interested... Classic hits replay of the Niall Boylan show from today. JY talking about her case.

No way! Did I miss it? They're talking about smoking...

FromEden · 22/07/2019 21:25

I didn't hear it but apparently JY hung up on the host. Lol

RaveOnThisCrazyFeeling · 22/07/2019 21:27

Just happened upon it in the car... I'm not a Boylan fan but he was pretty unrelenting in challenging JY on the women's right to say no. JY said they don't have that right... and hung up. They tried to get JY back on the line, seems like it was supposed to be a bigger segment but JY apparently turned off their phone. So they started on about smoking.

Wow. Did JY really say women don't have the right to say no?! Shock in a way though they are doing the GC cause a great service by putting it all out there in clear view

EweSurname · 22/07/2019 21:31

Women don#t have the right to say no. Trans activism in a nutshell (possibly poor choice of words)

NeurotrashWarrior · 22/07/2019 21:32
Shock
DpWm · 22/07/2019 21:33

Haa!
Another own goal it seems.

NeurotrashWarrior · 22/07/2019 21:33

Way to peak another few thousand people.

miri1985 · 22/07/2019 21:39

JY predictably flounced mid way through the interview and turned off the phone so that conversation is over. The interviews are usually available as podcasts the day after but I took some notes (not the fastest typer) that I thought others might be interested in. Well worth listening to when its out as a podcast Niall Boylan (NB) didn't really give an inch.

Some is dialogue (may not be 100% accurate) and some are just notes

NB: Asks for JY's version

NB: Says born Johnathan?

JY: Officially changed name in 2019 has been going by Jessica privately for years

JY: Very complex process to change name, have to change everything. Was going by Johnathan with female as ID for quite some time

NB: All stuff changed but still have male genitalia

JY: I do but still have intersex genitalia

NB: You don't have a vagina

JY: Its complicated

NB: Well you don't

JY: No

NB: Externally that part would look male

NB asks how JY found these women

JY used to use the phone and would get a lot of discrimination so decided to use facebook marketplace so that people could see who JY was

JY claims to have procured an expert witness for next court case from Cleveland Ohio claims a Brazilian does not mean removal of hair from female genitals, it apparently means removal of hair from "belly button to butt" regardless of gender

NB: Is it not called a manzillian or back sack and crack?

JY: Its not

NB: How did you select the ones you wanted to contact? These were female beauticians correct?

JY: There were males too but they provided fake information

JY says there are 3 more cases being heard on on the 26th (not 100% if 26th is correct but its what I wrote)

NB: Is it true looking for 8k per complainant?

JY: Some 3k some 5k, some 7.5k, another 15k due to her husband interfeering in the case! (annoyance palpable by JY that someones husband would interfere when their wife is being extorted)

JY then claims this whole thing is the same as if they came to Ireland and refused service to Irish people. NB disputes this.

JY then says they were just assaulted on skytrain for being trans

NB then says that he doesn't believe JY has the right to have people believe that they are a woman.

NB: I don't believe in God, do you?
JY: I do
NB: I don't believe I respect your faith, that doesn't mean I have to believe in God. What you're asking these women to do is perform a service they don't believe in. Are those women not protected?
JY: No, essentially I am a protected class.
NB: Are these women not protected? Why does your right trump theirs? Thats the concern I have is that those women should be allowed to say no. They're saying we shouldn't be forced to do that

Line goes dead

Tries to get JY back who has turned off their phone.NB says its a shame as they really wanted to talk more about it.

Reads out 2 emails about JY (neither supportive) moves on

FormerMediocreMale · 22/07/2019 21:40

Ooh JY is fantastic for peaking. Hanging the phone up in a strop is hilarious Grin

RaveOnThisCrazyFeeling · 22/07/2019 21:41

I can't quote exactly, but yes. Not in a general sense of 'women can't say no', but in the sense of the etheticians not having a right to refuse JY service... the basis of his many lawsuits. JY said JY had a right to the service as JY is protected under law. Boylan said but aren't the women also protected, don't they also have a right to say no? JY said no they aren't, or no they don't. Boylan drew the comparison to belief in God vs athiesm, that okay, people should respect that you identify as a woman / believe you are a woman but they can't be forced to believe it too, can they? He asked about whether JY's rights should override the women's rights to their own beliefs (again, this is to the best of my recollection) and JY said this was what the tribunal was going to decide. Then Boylan asked something else, and JY was gone. Seemed maybe it wasn't going as JY expected it to.

Well done miri Smile. I was sure that JY responded in the negative to Boylan's question about the women being able to say no... did you not think so? Apologies all if I got that wrong (but I don't think I did).

FlapsMagazine · 22/07/2019 21:47

Going all the way with the intersex claims I see. Not enough popcorn eating Jacksons in cyberspace.

miri1985 · 22/07/2019 21:56

You're right (I left loads out they talked so fast) definitely said that they shouldn't be able to say no. NB said something about a balancing of rights but JY definitely thinks that they shouldn't be able to say no.

OvaHere · 22/07/2019 21:56

A recording

Manderleyagain · 22/07/2019 21:57

Do you think the presenter knows that the law in Ireland is similar? Or at least I think it is re self Id.

TriptychDebbie · 22/07/2019 21:58

Poor little JY's not used to being told no. I'm sure that Niall will be getting a lawyer's letter any minute now. He must be crapping himself Wink

TriptychDebbie · 22/07/2019 21:59

Thanks @OvaHere Smile

OhHolyJesus · 22/07/2019 22:03

What a busy day JY has had - see date and JY's next venture (looks real to me and feasible considering previous interests).

Great notes PP, will have to listen on catch up tomorrow. Not long til Newsnight, what with JY and talk about Puberty Blockers there could be a lot of trans peaking this week!

OvaHere · 22/07/2019 22:05

JY is definitely the frontrunner for Trans Sherpa of the Year award. Grin

MadamBatty · 22/07/2019 22:10

That recording is gas. JY can dish it out but can’t take it😂

NeurotrashWarrior · 22/07/2019 22:24

Brilliant recording, JY clearly thought they had a sympathetic interviewer. Brilliant use of the god / ideology analogy!

He basically said "I don't believe you, they don't believe you, you can't force anyone to believe you"

borntobequiet · 22/07/2019 22:34

That’s the best thing I’ve heard today, and it’s my birthday, so I’ve heard lots of good things.

littlbrowndog · 22/07/2019 22:45

Well that was an excellent interview. Well worth a listen

The interviewer. Just demolished the whole trans ideology in 10 minutes

Gingerkittykat · 22/07/2019 22:46

What do the trans community say about Jessica? I saw one person stick up for them in another thread on here, but surely even they can see this is bullshit?
