That has been quite refreshing to see..except while JY is clearly extreme, activists are ignoring the fact that the system they are pushing for enables exactly the type of person JY is - and there are others who are just not as vocal as JY. Distancing themselves from JY allows them to say "JY is not one of us" but JY definitely IS one of them, because that's exactly the problem with both self ID and saying gender dysphoria has nothing to do with being trans/is transphobic.

As for JY, their move into trans has been led by the advantages it brings JY's fetish. I'm expecting the next to be continuing with being trans and pushing in women's spaces, even jail or a refuge, both using the victim card somehow, or "detransitioning" (inverted commas because you can't transition out of something you're not) and joining the incell ranks again. But my bets are on the former.

Could Defendant / Lawyer not challenge the actual Transgender Ideology?

Even if they were not allowed to make this case for technical legal reasons – It would be nice if they could make a statement for the record that the Lawyer / Defendants do not accept the whole Transgender Ideology.

Before Women and Blacks got legal rights were Lawyers able to make statements for the record in Courts / Hearings that this was wrong.

I can not believe that in 2019 – we are in the same moral positions as those times again.

You missed the bit on day 1 where the judge was trying to figure out how to deal with someone obviously and openly male up until a couple of years ago insisting in court that they had periods, in terms of establishing the genitals the complainant actually had. Since it was obvious and inescapable that the content of these genitals actually had to be established for the case.

Still hasn't been an answer to that one.

There's a point at which it gets so silly it's baffling that actual grown ups are spending huge amounts of time, effort and worse tax payer funding on this absolute bullshit. And it makes you think, worryingly, our society and many people in it have way too much time on their hands and not nearly enough important things in their lives to think about.

At what stage can the judge stop this and call in the psychologist for an assessment?

This YouTuber has made a couple of videos relating to JY. This video has been released today, how long it stays up remains to be seen. There are already over a thousand comments so despite the lack of reporting there are many people taking an interest.

Just read about the Judge's conflict of interest... bloody hell Canada Govt, are your damage limitation/PR people asleep at the wheel?! Better warn your insurers too that there's a fuckton of compensation payments headed their way: these women's lawyers are being handed Christmas on a plate.

In fact at this point I'm starting to hope they let the farce get all the way to the end so we get to see the women's lawyers then take all this to (proper) court for harassment, distressed caused in proceedings with a judge with conflict of interest and behaviour during those proceedings.... bring it on. Let's do it in the full glare of the world's media. Hopefully that poor disabled, struggling, working class woman who was sobbing and humiliated in the dock the other day ends up with enough of a payout she doesn't need to work again.

Oh, I just read about Cousineau's judgment about Oger.
Definitely should have reused herself from this case. Someone so mired in transgender ideology will find it impossible to go against JY, or she'll lose all her friends and face the dunking stool on Twitter.

I'm planning to #peaktrans a male Sikh friend (in the UK, but, you know, IDENTITY POLITICS crosses borders) with this. Bit by bit, we can spread the word about how dysfunctional gender ideology is. The more people see the perverse and unintended by sensible people consequences are, the better.

Shame the Canadian government throughout the world as a sexual predator mandating legal sexual assault on working women.

I'd contribute to any crowdfunder purchasing any kind of publicity of that fact, including flying banners behind private airplanes at every Canadian sporting event.
