JY’s parent sounds like an absolute loon. It would explain a lot.

There are indeed a number of mixed sex salons in the area, and JY has had JY’s parts handled at at least one of them: he left a positive online review for Foxy Box salon.

The human rights complaints are not about poor JY not finding anyone to wax JY’s male genitals. They are about his desire to force SPECIFIC UNCONSENTING women to touch JY’s genitals.

GrinitchSpinach · 15/07/2019 12:20

Oh crap sorry for correct sex pronoun in there. I was trying to be careful to type JY only, but it is a very difficult feat of cognitive dissonance when discussing male genitals!

TriptychDebbie · 15/07/2019 12:21

They're the judge in charge and have ordered the blackout. It's appalling.

This is a link to a blog that gives a timeline from when JY first started to get noticed. It starts with his predation of fans of the band Cimorelli. It makes for uncomfortable reading. He's been getting away with this behaviour for far too long.

Much as JY comes accross as unstable and unwell-I can't help wondering if they are being used as a puppet in all of this?

It worries me that certain young transwomen rose through the ranks in political parties here, where they are quite out of their depth. I know JY is older, but I still think they are open to being manipulated/encouraged.

PierreBezukov · 15/07/2019 12:29

Even if a blackout has been imposed by a corrupt and partial judge, the media should be able to successfully appeal it on grounds of public interest.

SophoclesTheFox · 15/07/2019 12:32

Just placemarking, really, as I can’t think of a thing to say about this that hasn’t already been said.

Oh, Canada.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 15/07/2019 12:33

the media should be able to successfully appeal it on grounds of public interest.

That is of course, assuming they actually want to.

AlessandraAsteriti · 15/07/2019 12:49

How is it gender affirming to get your balls waxed when women do not have them?

SnuggyBuggy · 15/07/2019 12:52

That's what I don't get. If you were gender dysphoric wouldn't you be more likely to want to act as if your "wrong" genitals didn't exist and have as little to do with them as possible.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 15/07/2019 12:55

If you were gender dysphoric

JY isn't gender dysphoric.

JY has a period and tampon fetish and gets turned on with the whole idea of having a period, he thinks this is how women feel.
His body is fine.

SnuggyBuggy · 15/07/2019 13:05

This is why I don't like how all these different things just get lumped together

Michelleoftheresistance · 15/07/2019 13:06

The most that can result of this is surely an edict that from hence forth, no one may claim to offer waxing services unless they're willing to wax mixed sex clients. (And apparently regardless of the client's creepy behaviour too.)

So what will happen is a mass exodus of people from the waxing profession. They'll just find other work. JY will be no better off. He can legally force the horse to water in the Batshit world Canada has become, but no one can force the horse to drink. Or to stay in a job and carry out an activity as part of it that they don't agree or wish to do.

Michelleoftheresistance · 15/07/2019 13:09

And as I mentioned up thread: if this insane procedings results in trying to compel people working from home to accept creepy and abusive clients of a sex they are not willing to work with then they'll do what many people in holistic/beauty care working from home already do, and they'll stop advertising.

Many already work only with friends, family, long term clients, friends of friends and family. No adverts, no publicity, no unknown/phone or email client contacts. This can't be prevented. It's just bloody awful that women are worthy of so little respect that they have to provide services by women for women underground to in order to escape legal compulsion to be abused by creepy people with penises.

Michelleoftheresistance · 15/07/2019 13:11

And frankly the more I read about this case, the more I see a number of things the complainant is in critical need of: waxing isn't high on that long list.

Because they are LADY balls. So a refusal to wax him because he is a man Is what he’s complaining about.

Because “I’m a laydee, you know”

OldCrone · 15/07/2019 14:14

I don't know if this has been linked to on here yet. I found it from a link in the gendertrending article that Debbie linked to earlier. I haven't read it all - it's quite long and full of legal detail which is hard to follow. It's about the limits put on publication of the proceedings, but there's also a lot of background about JY's complaints against the waxing salons.

Surely excruciating pain in the testicles would be the antithesis ‘lady feels’? Confused

OhtheHillsareAlive · 15/07/2019 20:35

Well quite, *. But we are waaaaay beyond logic and common sense in this case.

CoolCarrie · 15/07/2019 21:05

Just off topic a wee bit , does anyone know how things have been going at the once women only swimming pond on Hampstead Heath now that trans people are allowed to use it?

ahumanfemale · 15/07/2019 22:45

littlbrowndog I'd seen Louise's twitter account a while ago but not this site. Thanks for that share.

ahumanfemale · 15/07/2019 23:03

Surely excruciating pain in the testicles would be the antithesis ‘lady feels’?

Ordinarily. But menstruation, for example, isn't JYs main fetish. It's one manifestation of it that is so grabbing it eclipses what else is going on. JY's actual fetish is making women uncomfortable by forcing them into uncomfortable situations. And JY is such a chicken shit that he targets vulnerable women and girls (and gets the ones he can't shut up/control banned from twitter). So conversations about menstruation may indeed be about something that turns JY on, but the bigger drive is the actual conversation itself, because the level of detail he goes into is designed to make the other person uncomfortable. And that would be amplified if JY could do it in person. So conversations about waxing JY's balls are a turn on. Making 12 year olds uncomfortable is a turn on. Making vulnerable adult women publicly discuss handling JYs sweaty balls is a turn on.

Which is why it's so abhorrent that any of the beauticians are cross examined by him.

And it also explains why JY went from creepy dude online to trans woman pushing for their "rights". Look at what was worn to the town hall meeting (purple dress and tiara). That is consistent with making people uncomfortable. And becoming a trans woman is the ultimate pass to making women uncomfortable and controlling them by the law rendering them subsequently unable to defend themselves against a biological male (which a trans woman is).

EVERYTHING he does is about making women squirm and dominating/controlling them. I've been thinking he has mental health issues and we need to be careful somewhat. And he may have genuine MH issues, but he's also extremely manipulative and controlling and we shouldn't take our eyes off that.

Goosefoot · 15/07/2019 23:06

I think a bit part of it is also the possibility of the money.

Datun · 15/07/2019 23:17

EVERYTHING he does is about making women squirm and dominating/controlling them.

This ^^ is a giant seam running through the entire ideology. It's everywhere.

And because, in a patriarchal society, men do dominate, some people don't even realise see the horrific leverage that the ideology gives men everywhere.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 15/07/2019 23:18

So what makes them uncomfortable. Interesting though isn’t it. Absolute lack of empathy, absolutely self centred, odd parents.
