You'd think so, but now it's looking like that was all a smokescreen If it wasn't, why are gay men not objecting, and objecting to the open targeting of children, and abuse of lesbians?

Never have I been so convinced that lesbians (and bi women) should get out of this farce - and quickly.
Fetish has nothing to do with LGBT, plenty of straight people have fetishes, and fair play to them, what adults do in private is nothing to do with me but the moment it is made public and particularly when kids get dragged in, someone needs to say stop.
The public will not accept this and will blame the LGBT, our rights will be pushed back decades.

This is deeply disturbing. It feels like there is free rein at the moment to involve children in fetishes and nobody in authority is calling for any accountability.

No wonder they want the mostly older, more worldly lesbians out of the way.

This really feelslike a massive landgrab of LGBT from fetishists now. I worry about how it will end. Probably in a reversal of all the gains 'normal' (i.e. non fetishy and exhibitionist) LGBT people have made.

Even without the fetish stuff I had been wondering now they are going to safeguard this mixed age, mixed sex group of vulnerable young people.

I am at a complete loss to understand why fetishistic activities need public acceptance. It's a private matter between consenting ADULTS surely. I really don't care what people get up to behind closed doors but I'm getting really pissed of with the entitled attitude that encourages it to be bought into the public domain.

I don't want to know and I am deeply suspicious of the motives for exposing children to it.

I agree this feels like a landgrab. As pointed out, straight ppl have fetishes, so you now have straight people parading their stuff at pride not really the idea, was it?

That said there seems to be acknowledgement there that fetish and trans (hobby[?] identity) are separate from lgb (sexualities). So maybe that's progress?

I do not understand why this is ok with people. The police will visit women for tweeting biological facts and nobody does anything about this?

They are determined to sexualise children. It feels like this has been snuck in and gained a huge chunk of ground recently. I sincerely hope this is short-lived and people come to their senses soon.
