I’m not clear on the linkages here. Does it go: Gendered intelligence are fundraising to send people, including children, to Pride, and a grab bag of assorted fetishists are marching in solidarity with the gendered intelligence trans representation? Just want to check that I get what’s happening.

We urgently need to sort out what pride is for these days. On the one hand, it seems to be for corporates to paint themselves with rainbows and virtue signal about inclusivity, and on the other, it now seems to be about opening up the umbrella for every fetishist to drag an unconsenting joe public into their cosplay in wildly inappropriate ways.

And what does this - or Spanner or Emmett - have to do with children? Why are campaigners who want to overturn judgements on risky adult sex linking up with child transition lobbyists? Unsure of the connection there. It's not obvious to me.

Why is there a separate Trans Pride a couple of weeks before Brighton Pride? The main event is LGBT+ surely?
