When Jean announced an upcoming ride for women, a TRA asked for info, wanting to join with “the ladies” to support “the ladies.” Jean advised that the ride was for women only. The TRA then sent Jean, who has ovarian cancer, a photo of an ovarian scan.

Kitty Holland of the Irish Times then appeared on Jean’s twitter feed to ask why Jean was “having a go” at transwomen.

Despite Jean’s careful explanation that this was a ride specifically to celebrate women in the UK murdered by husbands or boyfriends, and that no transwomen appeared in that grouping, Kitty Holland has continued to tweet about the “transphobia.” She even accused Debbie Hayton of transphobia after Debbie backed Jean.

A TRA posted on twitter a reward for anyone who’d knock Jean off her bike.

For anyone who has a bike but isn’t in London, Jean is now helping others to organize rides in other cities.

Genuine question: how, in practical terms, can Jean Hatchet prevent men from joining the rides if they take place on public roads?

I don't know. But here's another genuine question: what kind of nobhead would want to do that when they've been asked not to?

It isn't about actually joiing her, Isatis it is about her saying they can or can't.

As has been noticed over teh last few years when TRAs get something they have shouted about wanting they don't use it or they find another thing to shout about. Gender neutral toiltes for example. In places where they now exist TRAs are shouting that having floor to ceiling doors are transphobic! Sadly I am not joking!

Awful for Jean and everyone else involved, but massive amounts of revealing sunlight. Explaining why women riding for murdered women is transphobic couldn't be more effective in exposing the misogyny.

I regularly donate to Jeans cause, I was a child of terrible domestic violence and thought he’d kill my mum or brother many times. I’ll be donating again today to show support.

Top five, I don’t think it’s just about harassing women. For the handmaidens it’s also about getting men to like you, and using woke cred to progress your career. Other women are just collateral damage to them.

I do the same thing! Also chuck an extra quid in to crowdfunders when people turn up here to try to discredit them!

I completely agree Jessica. If it was the right of men to 'live as women' they were really backing they wouldn't be advocating violence towards post op transexuals who actually support women's sex based rights.

I am waiting for the first trans women to organise their own ride to raise money for murdered transwomen. Surely that would be feasible? Or are they too busy tweeting misogyny to get off their arses?
