I have reported!!

adultFemaleElf · 05/03/2019 23:00

Thanks.

Rachel is telling us who Rachel really is now and it’s not pleasant.

Defenestrator · 05/03/2019 23:02

Christ that tweet from cheaty bloke ( i know I know, she's within the rules)

I was going to say how fab Sharron D looks now, what a role model

UrsulaPandress · 05/03/2019 23:05

Is that really the best he can do? Criticise her appearance?

Beamur · 05/03/2019 23:06

SD is an impressive athletic woman. I can't imagine very many people would read her as male! Dream on.

adultFemaleElf · 05/03/2019 23:08

How does Rachel’s employer let Rachel get away with such online abuse and bullying...seems Rachel is above the rules

AlecTrevelyan006 · 05/03/2019 23:09

She was also in Gladiators :)

AlecTrevelyan006 · 05/03/2019 23:10

Sharron Davies that is - Amazon

Datun · 05/03/2019 23:12

I don't want Rachel's desperate tweets to be deleted.

(I'm sure Sharron won't give a fuck. It's Q
quite a common tactic of transactivists to call women men. Presumably, because it's something that they abhor, they think women abhor it, too. Except most women really don't give a toss.).

Sunlight. Sunlight, let it shine.

OhTheDramz · 05/03/2019 23:14

Is there any way one can contact Sharron to show her some support? Not on twitter and no plans to join. Found her agents email but not sure that’s quite right.

BettyDuMonde · 05/03/2019 23:14

Jealous much, Rachel?
Sharron is still just as amazingly athletic-looking as she was in her competitive prime, yet is still clearly female. And beautiful.

Not that either is a necessary part of actually being female.

I’m hoping Fatima Whitbread pops up next and serves Rachel a nice big can of whoopass. Sadly, my cursory search suggests she hasn’t tweeted since 2012?

adultFemaleElf · 05/03/2019 23:20

I think Rachel is getting desperate.

And don’t worry Datun, I have zero expectation that she will receive even a twitter warning, misogyny is totally allowed on twitter.

Datun · 05/03/2019 23:23

It's rather reassuring to know that McKinnon's narcissism massively outweighs any kind of emotional intelligence as to how they are coming across.

BettyDuMonde · 05/03/2019 23:28

Sharon Davies would’ve been through the compulsory sex verification* testing anyway, so what she looks like is neither here nor there - she is a woman. End of.

*The IOC had compulsory testing in place from 1968-1996

Davies won Olympic silver in 1980.

Datun · 05/03/2019 23:35

It's rather telling that McKinnon is attempting to physically denigrate one of the most attractive women you will find, who has the most amazing and athletic figure on the planet.

And they say penis envy is a thing!

🤣🤣🤣

OvaHere · 05/03/2019 23:48

I've seen a few twitter posts in the last day or so trying to claim Sharron is secretly trans.

So pathetic especially in the context of so many top female athletes being denigrated for being too 'manly'. It's been the go to misogyny for years, doubly so if they are lesbian like Martina.

ScipioAfricanus · 06/03/2019 00:23

It’s just struck me that sports women may be particularly adept at putting up with the accusations and abuse thrown by TRAs because of the mental discipline and stability which seems necessary to succeed in sport. I know I am far too emotional and up and down to cope with the pressure and the competitive environment. (Not to mention my complete lack of coordination or physique!). Sharron Davies seems to be so calm in the face of all this. And to be trying to let it slide like water off a duck’s or swimmer’s back. I’m so impressed by her and other ex-athletes who have stood up and spoken their minds.

AssassinatedBeauty · 06/03/2019 00:26

Of course the BBC and others will continue to have RMcK on as a speaker despite the nasty little tweets they keep coming out with.

Datun · 06/03/2019 00:30

And the rank sexism that women's sports is always subject to. They will be seasoned, old hats at this.

EcclesThePeacock · 06/03/2019 00:32

She's had 3 children. I know TRAs often have a poor grasp of biology, but surely not that bad? Twittering twits.Hmm

Cloven · 06/03/2019 00:59

Argh Boy George’s response to the Sky tweet. 😡

Hmm. I don't know what to feel. Would love to hear from transexuals that compete in sports. Maybe even doctors because isn't what Sharon's saying just an opinion? Isn't it more people discussing things they possibly don't completely understand?

Fucker. I’ve gone right off him. It says a lot about how men are listened to over women though doesn’t it?

Imagine if Rachel McKinnon was a (natal)?woman. She’d be the laughing stock of the world. There would be memes of her stupidity and mindblowing narcissism everywhere.

EcclesThePeacock · 06/03/2019 01:20

I'm pretty sure Sharron Davies understands women's sports a lot better than Boy George does.Hmm

MrsJamin · 06/03/2019 05:25

You know what, Boy George, this isn't about your "feelings"! Hmm
There's a tiny bit of doubt creeping in though, don't you think?
Keep going Sharon! We're rooting for you! Star

Bebstar123 · 06/03/2019 06:39

Sharon has screenshotted and retweeted those appearance comments by McKinnon.Grin

It's horrible, sexist bullying and she ain't taking it. Atta girl.

Saltovinegar · 06/03/2019 07:01

You've got to be desperate when your best form of attack is to claim a woman is a man despite the fact they're obviously a woman. (I thimk that makes sense).
