It is a common 'argument'

It goes that
Su cessful sports people have certain natural advantages
Basketball players are tall
Gymnasts are flexible
Weightlifter are str9ng
Etc

We do not say that tall women are advantaged when eg playing rugby and so should not be allowed to compete
We say well that's the way it goes

Therefore women who have the natural extra height strength power etc due to being male should not be singled out

Sport is intrinsically unfair as all people are born with attributes that help or don't help and so men should be allowed to compete against women as its hardly their fault they were born with a bit of extra dick and all that goes with it

I am taller than some men.

The whole birth certificate is a legal fiction Rachel - an adoptive parent is the legal parent of their child. It doesn’t change the biological reality that an adoptive parent hasn’t passed on 50% of their genetic material to their child and it would
be absurd to go to a medical appointment and give their family medical history as the child’s medical history just because the birth/adoption certificate says they are their parent.

To defend joss again (I swear I’m not joss’s sock puppet) I think they’re trying to point out that Sharron has a natural biological advantage of height over joss that she can’t have worked for but was born with, therefore if a transwoman was taller/stronger/faster than a woman, that’s just the luck of the draw so it’s fine for transwomen to compete with women. Ignoring as always, averages between men and women and more importantly, that men aren’t women and women aren’t men but are biologically different.

I can’t believe joss (or anyone) would actually be saying or believe that training makes you taller.
