Miley Cyrus is in a heterosexual marriage but appears to think she has redefined it as queer and 'genderless'.

The emperor has no clothes.

The other thing I don't understand about the current crop of woke youngsters is that they say things like "gender is irrelevant" but they still feel the need to define everything exactly - "I'm polyamorous pansexual gender-queer non-binary".

So true.

You're defining your non binary, queer, pansexual 'identity' (another load of horse shit, that everything has to have an 'identity - the self indulgence is nauseating) by using gender as the foundation of your definitions no matter how much you kick and scream that gender is irrelevant to you.

Though I do have to say Kettleon that I don't agree with your thread title.

Kettleon80 · 22/02/2019 12:50

Yes I did think about that too.

I've said a few times though that my opinion is she is actually heterosexual and is using the current trend for everyone to be pansexual as a career developer and to make her seem edgy and no longer that 'innocent' child-star.

I know lots believe she really is bisexual, I don't so that's why I put the title.

Under identity politics, you’ve got to work hard to craft one, with old, white, cishet male as the reference point from which you must distance yourself at all costs.

This is humanity’s most urgent priority.

Kettleon80 · 22/02/2019 13:33

Yes. Work hard to craft and create an identity that is your 'true authentic self' 😏

There's a bit of bi erasure going on here guys

IfNotNowThenWhy · 22/02/2019 16:08

What's the difference between Bisexual and Pansexual? There are only two sexes of humans ...what else is it encompassing? Confused
And why do people need labels at all? It's so restrictive.

Kettleon80 · 22/02/2019 16:09

Where's the bi erasure?

I understand pan sexual to be the sexual attraction to men and women but also trans. So basically bisexuality be given a new label by the new generation.

Isn’t pan “I’m so cool I even like men and women who aren’t walking stereotypes?” Because that’s NEVER happened before in the whole history of youth culture.

hipsterfun · 22/02/2019 16:25

I thought pan was how young lesbians have to describe themselves in order to avoid social opprobrium for causing hurtyfeelz.

3timeslucky · 22/02/2019 16:27

So she's bisexual and worried that being married to a man might damage her image (and self-image) and make her seem square.

That's an awful lot of ink wasted by the Daily Mail to say precisely nothing.

Haworthia · 23/02/2019 00:23

You’ve hit the nail on the head for me 3timeslucky about not seeming “square”.

I have a old friend like this. Has been in a monogamous heterosexual relationship for the past 15 odd years but identifies as bi. Has never been in a relationship with a woman (whether she’s had flings or ONS, I have no idea). Always makes such a performance of making sure people know how different she is - she’s childfree (but weirdly bitter and whiny about ever being asked), she’ll never get married, and made a big show about being given her boyfriend’s grandmother’s ring but it’s not an engagement ring and look, I’m wearing it on my right hand. Dude, no one cares about how anti-establishment you are. You’re thirty-fucking-six. Just live your life the way you want and be happy about it Grin

Quintella · 23/02/2019 00:36

Oh yeah, it's everything to do with a fear of appearing square. She's spent the last few years writhing about on a wrecking ball, off her shaved head on drugs, doing her best to shed her wholesome tween image. Now she's gone back to a more traditionally feminine image and has just married a pleasant looking, sensible and solvent straight man.

'We might seem more or less like any other straight white married couple but we're way more exciting than that. Really we are!'

Quintella · 23/02/2019 00:39

And I'm sorry, but you're the fruit of Billy Ray Cyrus' loins, so I'm afraid you're never going to be edgy, Miles!

Kettleon80 · 23/02/2019 09:06

What's the bet she will be pregnant soon and 'redefine' pregnancy as 'look even queer, pansexual, non binary PEOPLE can get pregnant too' I'm breaking down even more barriers of who can have a baby! I'm not going to be one of 'those' frumpy, dull, heterosexual and gay women who have children, Im queer and pan dontcha know! Groundbreaking. Then likely she will raise the child as 'non binary'. Yawn.

Katvonfelttipeyebrows · 23/02/2019 09:09

Oh bisexual has long been erased for the likes of Miley. She's pan. Hates the word Bi.

Miley Cyrus is heterosexual
Sheelala · 23/02/2019 12:37

Love it hipsterfun :)

Apparently she is more attracted to Liam's spirit. Damn good luck that he is generally regarded as one of the most conventionally attractive white men on the planet. A coincidence, and it doesn't mean she isn't all edgy and alternative.
