I think it's called "Block chain" they actually block the people that are "bad" and then those people's followers and so on. Therefore stopping women from ever having an opinion that could be so dangerous as to actually be shared publicly.

ElizabethMainwaring its a mystery. Is there someone else at your IP address? Posie Parker's husband and children are all banned from twitter as well as her. But maybe it just picks up what articles you click on to read etc, in the same way google and Facebook keep sending you ads for pink pyjamas because you once looked at some on a website. It's a powerful chain blocker programme to be sure.

I read a lot of GC stuff on Twitter, but only use my account for work and don't follow anyone GC and I'm not blocked. Maybe you accidentally liked something at some point, it seems quite easy to do.

Oh men and their 'burning women alive' thing. Incredibly common as a threat and often carried through with an attempt, in domestic violence. There's 'burn the witch' connotations, which derive from the whole idea of cleansing with fire, and destroying the entire person, to remove every bit of their physical being to make it as if she never existed at all.

It's an expression of righteousness, absolute hatred and desire to completely dominate.
