Does anyone know if this is really true? Apparently TRAs have targeted the bank & complained about them letting FPFW bank with them... so are considering closing their account.

Natwest need to think about this carefully!

I just had a pleasant online chat (with a real person) at NatWest who said she perfectly got my point (that I would switch banks if FPFW had their account closed) and she would pass it up the management chain.
Refreshing. I’ve been with NatWest for well over 30 years.

The problem seems to be then they let ‘Mary the intern do the twitter account. These young uns are soooo media savvy! What’s the harm!?’ Would they have untrained and inexperienced people write the press releases or company reports? Copywrite the ads? Present at shareholder meetings?

No because their reputation could be in tatters in minutes.

Hopefully they won't shut the FPFW account down based on a tweet from someone who likes to post pictures of their unattractive backside for all to see.

Then again the BBC gives airtime to a (wo)man who thinks 16 year olds should be allowed to participate in extreme porn so anything is possible.

its odd ho TRAs never seem to click on that behaviour like this peaks way more people than 'terfs' could ever hope to on their on. Who the fuck do they think they are, basically demanding that someone elses bank account is closed. An awful lot of them on the threads discussing this hinging on that they only ever get donations of $10 or whatever. Also the suggestion that because loads of women chip in small amounts this means its clearly money laundering is insane tbh.

I like the idea that Nat West should look more closely into where the money is coming from.
The TRAs just will not believe it's crowd funded, despite all the evidence.

Ahh but when natwest finds no foul play, it ill be because natwest is secretly ran by terfs and such.
