Natwest bank possibly closing account of Fair play for women

Does anyone know if this is really true? Apparently TRAs have targeted the bank & complained about them letting FPFW bank with them... so are considering closing their account.

Natwest need to think about this carefully!

Who runs company twitter accounts?

Some of my students have been let loose on company Twitter accounts, either during internships or immediately after graduation. Some of these were large companies as well. You can see how the Ocado incident happened.

Ugh. Obviously people with vaginas shouldn't even have bank accounts, why can't they just have their housekeeping cash left on their pillows?

No company worth its salt should let someone junior loose on their twitter account. It’s a recipe for disaster!

I agree. I’m always shocked when I see this on their CVs and wonder what these companies are thinking.

They are above the law.

My current account, savings accounts and childrens' saving accounts are all with NatWest. I'll be closing them all if they close FPFWs account.

Last year the amount of people closing ocado accounts was 100+ so many more people have realised what is going on since then.

Even if the account in question was say The National Front that is a disgraceful reply. The bank has no business discussing an account holder and client. on Twitter

Looks like community accounts aren't offered by all the banks. FPFW might end up out of pocket.
