Members attending this year’s RCN Congress in Liverpool will vote on a number of important resolutions that will look to improve health and life chances for many vulnerable people.
The resolutions proposed include lobbying governments across the UK to decriminalise prostitution, end period poverty and invest resources to deal with rising child poverty...

So if the clients are mostly gay men and the nurses are mostly gay men and this is where you want to set up the brothel than presumably you are thinking of one for men to see men?

NothingOnTellyAgain · 04/02/2019 13:12

You'r ewrong lymphy

It's all adult gay men and like a carry on film

Iolar · 04/02/2019 13:18

Ideal location would be just across the river from Parliament. MPs could visit in between debates. St Thomas close by. Affordable NHS for all, where Junior doctors and nurses getting wages subsidised by fat old Tory back benchers. Win win

Lymphy · 04/02/2019 13:25

You’re right of course, an example of a consultation

Patient - I’d like a pregnancy test
Me - ooooo err missus, what if it’s positive?
Patient- I’d like to discuss my options
Me - ooo you are naughty!!

My tunic pops open and my bra pings off hitting Dr PhilMcCavity in the face (he’s gay so not offended). Matron Emma Roids is fuming. We all reconcile over sushi on a two week team building exercise In Tokyo.

Oh Lymphy, you are awful.

NothingOnTellyAgain · 04/02/2019 14:27

lololol lymphy

BoreOfWhabylon · 04/02/2019 17:45

lolar, unless you are able to provide evidence for your assertions, I'm going to say you are talking absolute bollocks.

I've been a nurse for 40-odd years. I've never seen these hordes of nurses moonlighting as prostitutes. I'm not saying no nurse has ever turned to prostitution but it is certainly not common.

Moreover, the paper linked earlier in the thread makes it clear that the concern is for the health of the prostitutes, nothing more.

Iused2BanOptimist · 04/02/2019 18:08

I'm just very disappointed in my colleagues Bore. Not one has ever asked me to be their maid in the cottage which seems like a pretty entertaining way to make extra £££ without having to go to the trouble of personally sucking a dick. Keeping it all to themselves the selfish meanies.

Lymphy · 04/02/2019 18:15

I just joined the nurse bank for any extra income needed. Penis free. Well sort of.

Socrates11 · 05/02/2019 00:56

"So what is your answer to low wages for nurses? I'll get to that in a minute but it sure ain't going to be prostitution

The government ministers, heads of NHS trusts repeatedly keep their wages at barely subsistence levels.
Vs
Tax payers are just not willing to pay extra to bring these predominantly women workers above the poverty line.

^but, but you just said it's the Government, as employer, that keeps the wages low,...as we steadily move towards the sunlit meadows of private healthcare in the UK. I think you'll find tax payers have fuck all say in how their money is spent... otherwise I fancy the parasitical MPs would not be having 11% payrises as our worldclass NHS is driven into the ground.

My answer to austerity/low pay? Scrap HS2, Trident, Hinckley Point and all the other utter shite this Government manufactures to waste money. Bloody criminals ^

.....Lolololoooooowla sho is a catchy tune

Socrates11 · 05/02/2019 00:58

got italics to work on first bit... Ponders Grin

BoreOfWhabylon · 05/02/2019 08:32

Iused2BanOptimist We should set up an agency - there's clearly a gap in the market!

Holiday in Japan here I come!

Iused2BanOptimist · 05/02/2019 22:52

Hmm Bore
A nursing agency, with nurses with specialist experience, in their uniform, midwives and nannies with their special skills of changing nappies and bottle feeding. You and me in a cottage, Blossom Cottage, planning our trip to Japan. I've always wanted to see the blossom.

It's looking good.

Just to add, my NHS Trust charges nurses £80 per month to park.

BoreOfWhabylon · 05/02/2019 23:35

Iused2BanOptimist And the Japan trip could be written off as expenses if we go there to research and pick up a few kimonos prior to opening the Japanese Room in the cottage!

Iused2BanOptimist · 05/02/2019 23:39

£80 a month???

One of the consultants was moaning about £400 a year the other day, he now refuses to pay and parks off site.

That is a shocking price. Drive through brothels are the future. Gives a whole new meaning to park and ride. Grin

Our trust is just erecting a pop up modular ward for overflow as well as a modular office for consultants' meetings due to the shortage of space. Pop up erections most efficacious in every case.

Iused2BanOptimist · 05/02/2019 23:42

Bore combine it with a recruitment drive to fill the Brexit staffing exodus. Wink
