There are hundreds of thousands of infertile people and couples. I’m one of them. Every gay male couple in the land has this same issue. There is nothing special about Jake and Hannah’s situation, but somehow we’re supposed to believe that this is so special the law should be changed to give women fewer rights over their bodies and their babies?!

It’s not a business transaction, or it shouldn’t be. The surrogate is always the mother.

Or when the mother gives birth to a child with a congenital problem, the people who commissioned her can demand a penalty for damaged goods, or even reject the damaged goods?
