What we did was amazing. We pulled the GUardian, Parliament, the House of Lords, the media, out of a position they were determined to have, we changed the debate, we showed women were a political force, we acted, all over the country we acted. In different ways. We were bound by the GRA review and as soon as that was done it was evident that power relations had recreated within a social movement. Yes some people by reflex did things that they would always have done. Now we get to relearn and renegotiate power relations by saying we dont play the way media tribalists did. Whatever fall outs there have been were always going to hapen but we still did that. Thats why htis board is permanently monitored by nutcases and acually the power we demonstrated is directly at the root of the toxic fallouts and is a mark of success in itself. Political spectrum reforming within this movement is alright, but it probably pays to remember how amazing what we achieved was and letting that guide what we can achieve., We changed the conversation we can keep doing that. Easily. By having the conversation we want and not bowing to social media tribalism that hides all sorts of nasties and existing political orgs. And learning in a way they cant.

I hate to break it to you chap(s), but you're doing this all wrong.

Lisa could publicly drown a litter of kittens tonight and it wouldn't come close to the level of calamitous wankery you've demonstrated.

Politelygiveszerofucks · 29/01/2019 02:29

Jean is back on Twitter. Surprised you aren’t back on YouTube. Small mercies. Good night.

Politelygiveszerofucks · 29/01/2019 02:32

my work and behaviour speaks for itself. Sure does.

R0wantrees · 29/01/2019 02:33

Jean Hatchet has raised £18,180 ridning for murdered women & honouring their lives:

"I want to raise money to help victims of domestic violence. This money will go to Wearside Women In Need who face the closure of all 4 of their women's refuges because of a planned withdrawal of funding by Sunderland Council. Women will die as a result of that decision. We must save the women in Sunderland from men who will murder them.

At first my idea was really simple. I was riding along by the coast a couple of days ago and in my head thinking, as I often do, how many women are murdered as a result of domestic violence every year. How lucky I am to be riding my bike. Free. No one to tell me not to. Not any more.

This is not so for many women. Some women are with men who would smash their bike when they returned. Some women are with men who would call them too stupid, too fat, too selfish, too old, too useless to be doing something so simple and free as riding a bike. Some women can no longer ride a bike because they are dead. A man who they thought loved them, killed them.

So, for the rest of 2017, I will cycle for women who were murdered by men known to them in 2016. It is a big list. I will dedicate each ride to a woman. I cycled on Saturday for Katrina O'Hara. Stabbed to death by her partner Stuart Thomas.

The saddest thing is wondering if I have enough cycling days left in 2017 to honour the deaths of the women murdered in 2016. That was a very sobering thought. But I will do my best.

I promise that I will never ride less than 10 miles for any woman on the list... my usual ride is between 20 and 40 miles. I promise I will ride till my lungs scream. These women were worth it. Let us honour those women and celebrate their lives.

Wearside Women In Need have kindly agreed to accept the money. Claire Moore who runs the Dead Women Walking Murder March is providing me with the list of women.

As with the last fund I set up.... no money will touch my bank account at any point and Go Fund Me will direct funds straight to the charity once it is completed. They will add their bank account and provide verification.

Please help me to help women escape men who may kill them.

My heartfelt thanks for whatever you can spare.

Much love and gratitude,

Jean Hatchet x

It really does. A LOT to be proud of and a real demonstration of why you should look at systems and power relations and not focus on individuals. I am really proud of the work I have done and some of the things I have managed to get done have been real bucket list, never htought i would manage it stuff. Hugely proud of myself.

I only ever used twitter to talk to my friends, and the blog to contain my reflections and a buffer. thanks for reading the blog, I woudnt attempt it but then there is a difference between reading and lookin for stuff to bolster your delusions. Go right ahead on the latter. Give some more thought to your usernames next time x

Whats been REALLY lovely about the work have done, is that even though I didnt do it for that reason its been useful to other women. Really useful. That makes me really proud. That my geekdom was useful in this. What we have all achieved is immense. I can see why you are mad and locked into sockpuppetry and trying to rain on the parade. Shame and jealousy does that.

R0wantrees still whistling... Bless.

lisamuggeridge · 29/01/2019 02:37

What has been really something to be proud of is that even while your fantasist was doing what she was doing, I managed to achieve all that. Thats actually worth a pat on the back for me. I cant reach though. You can see why people go for me really. I should be flattered.

Datun, I swear I never would drown a kitten. I promise that. I am deeply flawed though.

Shame and jealousy.

What was that about accusations and admissions again?

geeewhizz · 29/01/2019 02:43

This is proving really productive.

'What has been really something to be proud of is that even while your fantasist was doing what she was doing, I managed to achieve all that.'

'Whats been REALLY lovely about the work I've done...'

'Thats actually worth a pat on the back for me.'

'I am really proud of the work I have done and some of the things I have managed to get done have been real bucket list, never htought i would manage it stuff. Hugely proud of myself.'

Grandiosity right there. Like you say, Lisa, you're keeping an accurate record.

Datun · 29/01/2019 02:44

Lisa, don't engage. This thread won't be here tomorrow.

lisamuggeridge · 29/01/2019 02:45

Gee, my work speaks for itself. Its why you are so angry at me. Its kind of reassuring. I dont need internet approval or internet fantasy because what I can do is real. And basedin reality. And I did that off my own back and then it was useful to other women and we have ust had an amazing year where we achieved amazing things. All of us. By not falling for internet narcissism. And it makes you angry that women stand together and it makes you angry that I know the value my work has, and I dont feel remotely bothered by our accusations cos my behaviour speaks for itself. For years and years. Its why I dont have to spend my time doing what you are doing. Try harder with the sock puppet names tomorrow. Also try to be less obvious.

And it definitely is Rowantree. It definitely is and its brilliant cos its so many women who are different and mostly not connected and these are things we have to work out but it doesnt change how brlliant what we did was. Is. Will be.

Thanks for the heads up, Datun. All now screengrabbed for posterity.

So many women fighting the patriarchy. So many women behaving like patriarchs, eh, Datum.

'Doesn't change how brilliant what we did was.' Lisa, you didn't do anything. Just attempted to destroy the ones who did.
