What we did was amazing. We pulled the GUardian, Parliament, the House of Lords, the media, out of a position they were determined to have, we changed the debate, we showed women were a political force, we acted, all over the country we acted. In different ways. We were bound by the GRA review and as soon as that was done it was evident that power relations had recreated within a social movement. Yes some people by reflex did things that they would always have done. Now we get to relearn and renegotiate power relations by saying we dont play the way media tribalists did. Whatever fall outs there have been were always going to hapen but we still did that. Thats why htis board is permanently monitored by nutcases and acually the power we demonstrated is directly at the root of the toxic fallouts and is a mark of success in itself. Political spectrum reforming within this movement is alright, but it probably pays to remember how amazing what we achieved was and letting that guide what we can achieve., We changed the conversation we can keep doing that. Easily. By having the conversation we want and not bowing to social media tribalism that hides all sorts of nasties and existing political orgs. And learning in a way they cant.

TopToToe. There is nothing positive about a woman claiming to steal credit from women she has sought to destroy. Not one of you tonight has even tried to tackle what has been claimed here and what is so clearly true because it's all there to see on Lisa's blogs. Because you know you can't. You're no better than the Harrop fanclub.

This is another favourite of mine amongst the statues. So lovely.

To all those women abused and gaslighted by the OP Flowers

We believe you.

ToeToToe · 29/01/2019 01:50

This one's beautiful too.

I liked that one, I loved the Cilla Black one, I thought that looked great.

Gee, that accusations as admissions thing is a bit weird, got to be honest.

This time last year I was donating to the Jennifer James fund - the first actual thing I did apart from reading about this stuff/posting on here.

We have come such a long way in that year - from it being a niche radfem concern to widespread media coverage and women's activism. It's fantastic.

lisamuggeridge · 29/01/2019 01:56

I think its about a year since Labour put us all on that fucking list. That was quite catalyst I think. BUt it had already snowballed a bit by then, by then we were openly talking about it and challenging it routinely I think.

I meant the statues, not the tossers 🤣

geeewhizz · 29/01/2019 02:04

Politely, thanks for your company tonight. The Mean Girls at least got a run for their money for once.

lisamuggeridge · 29/01/2019 02:05

Gee, you are outraged because I posted the evidece of what I was saying, you are outraged I posted conversations which demonstrate quite clearly what am saying, you are outraged at me existing, we get it. I cant change reality to suit you. Am sorry. I have no connection wit hthe fantasist you are discussing outside the disturbing impact of her fantasy on me, and you are currently engaged in some seriously creepy behaviour.

I am sorry that I discuss our political economy with an understanding of abusive behaviour, am sorry i dont tolerate it but really I have had no part in the fantasy you are living in and you cant decide whethe you are more outraged at the evidence that its fantasy being posted, or me not being upset by it. Really. Now if you doing this to me keeps you away from Jean, am all good with that really. But I do have to go to bed. All you are telling these people is just how serious the situation I am living with is. Thats it. You are not just telling them you are showing them and for that I am grateful. Really.

Rowantree, I started to watch some of that event of Posies and I had to switch it off cos sproglet but am going to watch it tomorrow. It looks excellent.

And to stay relevant to the OP. What WE have ALL achieved in the last year is immense. Actually immense. Unprecedented in social movements in this country for a very very long time. And if we can be an actual broad church and get through this, what emerges from what we did is goig to be important. VERY.

Its a really important series of speeches. Very powerful and I hope many people will listen to it and reflect.

Gee is discussing you Lisa, nobody else. It’s increasingly clear who the fantasist is.

Politelygiveszerofucks · 29/01/2019 02:12

Pleasure was all mine Gee. As OP would say, Really. Grin

lisamuggeridge · 29/01/2019 02:13

Politely- there is quite a lot that is obvious to any sane person, but we can all clearly see you have no insight at all. Now if you going at me keeps you away from Jean, thats great. Really. Go for it. Am going to bed, but I might be posting again tomorrow so say hi. x

Well I guess everyone is free to wait for PP to return and ask her where she stands on Ms Muggeridge. I think the proof is there in the fact she couldn't even be bothered to respond to Lisa's baiting of her on her blog over Christmas. I think everyone on here inc Lisa knows people like PP don't care about Lisa. All these women on here still eulogising her who haven't noticed they're the only ones. Lisa Muggeridge is irrelevant. The only fans she has left are the ones who are also irrelevevant on here, the ones trying to pretend they have value because they mean something on Mumsnet. It's telling this is where Jean and Lisa come for comfort.

geeewhizz · 29/01/2019 02:22

Three women are in the States right now actually doing something. Lisa and Jean are stuck over here bitching about it. Both of whom were never invited. Seeing the Mean Girls attitude on display in here tonight it's easy to see why. Three women are at Congress. Two are on Mumsnet. Ouch.

lisamuggeridge · 29/01/2019 02:23

PP doesnt give a fuck what I or anyone else thinks of her, and nobody needs to ask PP what her opinion of me is because it doesnt actualy matter. You appear to live in a world in your head with an imaginary courtoom I am obliged to participate in. I am sorry am not. Your disorder is your problem and nowt to do with me. Your focus on me is disturbing though, there are no two ways about it as is the link between me and Jean hatchett which also doesnt exist. This is really just another thread demonstrating a problem I have to deal with. Nothing more. The work I do speaks for itself, my analysis speaks for itself, and my behaviour and record on working with, studying and understanding systems that deal with abuse and link aroud women speaks for itself. I was doing that while your fantasist was manufactyring a connectoin to me. Really. Adults dont live for fantasy internet courtrooms. Thats why twitter has turned into what it is, its convinced quite a few adults that that is normal. Its not.

OP posts:
lisamuggeridge · 29/01/2019 02:25

Your hatred of yourself and your behaviour to me is really your business Gee, but its not a fantasy am going to paricipate in or use for anything but demonstration. Your fantasy is not reflected in my behaviour or work. Please do feel free to attack me, it is better than attacking Jean right now. Am fine with that. Water off a ducks back. But what women did last year was amazing, and we did it because we dont fall for internet narcs and tribalism. Thats what TRAS do.
