I’ve said people with unfeminist views shouldn’t have a loud voice in a feminist issue.
I’m having to repeat myself becuase people like you repeatedly twist what has originally been said.
I understand people ‘join forces’ with other organisations but they so obviously have different motives and intentions and it’s imo not right to join them in together.
I believe most of the posters here are not anti-trans, they are concerned about the implications self ID would have on woman in general, I agree with this.
These feminists would want trans people to be accepted and live life as they please free from hate, but not free to compromise woman’s safety. The paramount issue to them is the implications of letting anyone claiming to be a woman, into a woman’s space.
This is a woman’s issue, and woman are standing up against it.
Some other people quite clearly have their own reasons for ‘not liking’ trans people - religious, hateful etc... I do not believe that these people should be able to ride on the feminist wagon to cover their bigotry in ‘concern’ it will do no good for feminists actual reasoning in the long run.
So that is why, imo, people like that should be condemned by feminists.
