I'd have said previously that it was implausible that somebody with strong views on this topic would not be au fait with Twitter, but every day is a school day.

Vegan food is very farty. My recent experiments with daal have had hideous digestive consequences. If we got rid of cows and all went vegan, would we all fart the same amount of noxious gases as the cows currently do?

Heresy! Daal is lovely, if made well.
