jeanhatchet.blogspot.com/2019/01/why-i-wont-be-standing-up-for-women.html

This blog post from Jean is eye-opening. Working alongside anti-abortion, hard right groups undermines decades of feminism.

Shame on Posie. I agree with Jean, I will also be sitting down for women.

Oxytocindeficient BrewCakeFlowers

I’m trying to pretend I’m not really getting to the age where I’ll have to start thinking about that. Can I just identify out of it?

Oxytocindeficient · 28/01/2019 15:24

Unfortunately not particularly! Due to the hormone crap I mentioned in another post, I do make healthy and quite tasty desserts and things. My daughter takes care of the all-out unhealthy but essential baking, full of sugar and salt! I would add pictures of my desserts to make you drool, and convince healthy can be tasty too, but I used to blog and it would out me! I use date sugar, just dried ground dates or date syrup I make by boiling dates in water and blending, instead of sugar. I use nut butter or whole coconut butter ( dried blended coconut flesh ) as the ‘fat’ replacer.

I tried, I did. I tried to identify out of endometriosis too but hateful bigots stopped it and wouldn’t accept my identity. Why did nobody tell me peri menopause lasts sometimes a decade? I’m early 40’s, this shouldn’t be happening! I’m contemplating a hysterectomy to get it over and done with but I can’t afford it! I fully have menopause rage and am a misery Sad

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 28/01/2019 15:27

oxy

My friend brought me round lemon cupcakes she made for me

Ive had two

I swear they leapt out the box!!

Ive selotaped it so i should be safe now

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 28/01/2019 15:28

Oh gosh awful crosspost

Sorry to hear that oxy

Oxytocindeficient · 28/01/2019 15:29

You know, I’ve never been a cupcake person... but if there was a box in my house I would eat the lot today! Feeling sorry for myself. You know what, my DH will get home from a full days work this evening, cook dinner for me, get me a hottie and make sure I’m ok. So I should stop the pity party...

ToeToToe · 28/01/2019 15:29

CheesyBiscuits - save your breath. Nobody gives a fuck. HTH.

Oxytocindeficient · 28/01/2019 15:29

Thank you lovely ❤️

RepealTheGRA · 28/01/2019 15:30

Oh bless you Sad that sounds horrendous (the menopause, not the baking that sounds lush).

Can you not get a hysterectomy on the NHS if you need one Shock?

TRA tactics. She set a boundary and it injured my identity so I'll go digging and try to cause harm. Tedious. A.F. I wish twitter would die, it just creates this over and over regardless of the issue. Bloody narc central.

Oxytocindeficient · 28/01/2019 15:32

Well... last time I went to my GP about my hormones I was told to accept my age, lower my expectations, deal with the pain, take anti depressants... oh and nothing on a referral for the endo pain etc I don’t think there’s any way they’d give me one. I’m not depressed, I’m just fed up with not having energy to live a full life, and the pain mid cycle is horrific.

I wish twitter would die too.

I wish I knew where Jean was to send her a box of cupcakes. Donations aplenty instead ❤️

That's fine, you just believe everything Jean says. Don't think she didn't calculate this for maximum damage. Peace out.''

Your issues are yours, you are dealing with adults, htis is clearly new to you. Noted.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 28/01/2019 15:38

Seriously?

This OMG, these two people fell out, quick pick a side.

It's pathetic.

Oxytocindeficient · 28/01/2019 15:41

I pick MY side. The one where I support women who get shit done and fight for our freedoms.

Oh my god now I want biscuits so bad.

Floisme · 28/01/2019 15:41

I wish Jean would stand where I live - and I'm a lifelong Labour voter.

Yeah please... this is done now surely

DubBeGoodToMe · 28/01/2019 15:50

It's such a shame that the amazing work and activism that's going on in America and globally is being clouded by this.

That would make a good thread. I can’t see one dedicated to the US activism, is there one?

RepealTheGRA · 28/01/2019 15:54

That’s horrific, is your GP Male? Lower your expectations? Fuck me. Is being out of bed and pain free in your 40’s a high expectation these days? Shock

Oxytocindeficient · 28/01/2019 16:03

That’s horrific, is your GP Male?

Yes. No longer my GP but yes. I was so sick, later found out really really ill, my private doctor couldn’t believe I could move out of bed at all, but I didn’t stand up for myself due to being so weak physically. I later emailed to say all I asked for was to be listened to, and for more extensive testing. He replied it was a slippery slope to quackery. Medical tests for hormone levels, is apparently quackery. I was actually in my 30’s at the time. I found a better doctor and with him we managed to get me back to about 80%, and then over the next 5 years or so I’ve gone slightly up and down from that but mostly well until menopause stuff started. Really vile man. I wouldn’t dare go back to him about menopause stuff! My hair was coming out in clumps at the time too. God... awful time.
