jeanhatchet.blogspot.com/2019/01/why-i-wont-be-standing-up-for-women.html

This blog post from Jean is eye-opening. Working alongside anti-abortion, hard right groups undermines decades of feminism.

Shame on Posie. I agree with Jean, I will also be sitting down for women.

@jeanhatchet Huge respect for your work, I also follow you on twitter, and will be sad to see you go, I do hope you return. I greatly admire your decision to stand by your principles.

Mumfun · 28/01/2019 13:16

Jean Flowers Glad you are taking care of you!

And yes Twitter has a major problem which has gone under the radar. I have heard from investor friends that a lot of the big organisations such as Disney have run the rule over Twitter assessing whether to buy it to increase their social media presence and reach. And they have all concluded that it was not worth it - that there were too many issues with Twitter. So the share price of Twitter has stayed much lower than it might otherwise have done. And the founders didnt get the big jackpot sale and were hit in the pocket.

Needsmoresleep brilliant post

BoreOfWhabylon · 28/01/2019 14:28

I'd also like to commend Needmoresleep's post, which aligns with my views.

Why don't you just fuck the fuck off, Cheesybiscuits.

We see you.

PlectrumElectrum · 28/01/2019 15:05

Isn't it weird how people can't stick to the substance of an issue, and instead go digging for dirt to smear and bait? I couldn't care less what jean Hatchet has or has not done in the past, and wouldn't dare speculate on someone's health when I know fuck all about it and won't ever be privy to that.

WTF is wrong with you?

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 28/01/2019 15:05

Just a heads up that ive reported your post cheesy

Im sure im not the only one

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 28/01/2019 15:06

And your either a nam changer or a newbie

Either way...gutless

Jeanhatchet · 28/01/2019 15:07

@Cheesybiscuits I had a radical hysterectomy and rode my bike at 4 and a half weeks post op. Maybe your maths is as poor as your trolling. I did it in great pain and I didn't ride again for a full week.

But yes - I took risks so that I could not let down the two women I honoured - a mother and daughter who were both shot by a man - I had a mission to unite their rides together.

LangCleg · 28/01/2019 15:08

Once again, for the hard of hearing at the back and who don't post here other than to make trouble:

We know there has been an issue about who to campaign with and when. We know that there have been fallings out over it.

The majority of FWR regulars feel that these decisions are a matter for each woman's own views and boundaries and the decisions they take do not mandate us to take the same ones, nor to withdraw support from any woman engaged in pro-woman work as she thinks best.

It's not fucking rocket science.

RepealTheGRA · 28/01/2019 15:08

Do you have an actual point cheesybiscuits?

I found your post irrelevant and mean. Do better.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 28/01/2019 15:08

Try not to rise to it jean

You dont need to defend yourself to anyone

Let alone people like that

GO. THE. FUCK. AWAY.

RepealTheGRA · 28/01/2019 15:17

Why are you here? Do you have an actual point? What are you trying to achieve?

Oxytocindeficient · 28/01/2019 15:17

I have never liked cheesy biscuits, ever.

My favourite biscuits are these yummy vegan salted peanut butter and chocolate cookies my daughter makes if we’re lucky. I’m also partial to oat and raisin, reminds me of my childhood...

RepealTheGRA · 28/01/2019 15:18

OMG they sound divine! Do you have the recipe?

lisamuggeridge · 28/01/2019 15:18

Cheesybiscuits do you honestly think that washes here? That we havent seen this a zillion times? All of us. Its pathetic, is that the best you have? Really?

lisamuggeridge · 28/01/2019 15:19

OMG cheese and biscuits is exactly what I needed though and I have some onion chutney.

Oxytocindeficient · 28/01/2019 15:19

I will ask her when she gets in! I think it’s from the Ms Cupcake recipe book which is marvellous. Salty as and delicious!

Oxytocindeficient · 28/01/2019 15:20

Has anyone got a good onion chutney recipe?

ToeToToe · 28/01/2019 15:20

I've never liked cheesy biscuits either. They always taste sour to me, and they're fattening. All the calories, little taste.

Oxytocindeficient · 28/01/2019 15:20

I am in bed with menopause hell... someone bring me some cookies!!!!!!!

RepealTheGRA · 28/01/2019 15:21

Ooh please do! I love a peanut butter kitkat but if they’re homemade and vegan they must actually be healthy Smile
