I like Posie's style. She trusts her own senses and her own sense and she says what she thinks.
She doesn't come from a feminist background but her truth-seeking and sense of justice have led her to align with radical feminism. I love the fact she admits what she doesn't know, she openly learns and changes and feels confident in acting and speaking without knowing all the 'correct' feminist lines to toe.
Jean is also fucking amazing, she has a lot in common with Posie - the way with words, the ability to cut to the heart of the matter and speak in plain English - but Jean is different in that she is a survivor and has a deep and intimate knowledge of DV and the women's movement.
I did think her blog post seemed a bit of a whinge - but I think it is important - perhaps Posie or others who are from the 'just get shit done and deal with the nuance later' school of thought might learn from it. But hopefully not to the point of indecision and paralysis - it's impossible to completely avoid treading on toes. But those trodden on are allowed to say "ouch!".
