My God, that account for Gill, how sickening.
This is a weird thought but the village she lives in is a quiet little country place, I wonder if they were factors in cases that suggested that some victims were different from others? I think Natalie Connolly's killer was very rich, I am sure that played into it. Some of the victims had only just met their killer, in a couple of the cases they were prostitutes. Do all these factors play into the sentence given, as it all seems fucking random.
Also Janet Willoughby that is the most appalling thing.
And in the case of Vivienne Scott, "strangled by John Dudgeon (aka John Taylor)
"when he was a 21-year old DJ in his home town, he suffocated 19-year old Vivienne Scott, who had refused him sex." Taylor dumped her body, wrapped in rope, plastic and a piece of carpet near his home "and later claimed her death was the result of a prank which had gone wrong during a sex game."
The judge said Vivienne died after "horseplay". Dudgeon's defence QC said "his mistake was not seeking help when Vivien [sic] had died, if he had he would probably not even been on trial for manslaughter.""
I think we need to hold these judges to account. I honestly think if middle aged men were being killed in the same manner as these poor young women the legal professionals would have a sudden fucking rethink!
