Has anyone seen that video of the barmaid in Cardiff whose colleague "hugged" her so hard she passed out?

The "hug" was how I heard it portrayed from another news source. The video is one of the most disturbing things I have seen in a long time. The fact that the incident was downplayed by all the men involved including her bosses is very worrying. The fact the man in the video seems to be laughing as he lets go of her... It is very upsetting.

To commit this in public view, so calmly, he’s done this plenty of times before. Alsi, if the directors dismissed this so easily, makes me wonder what else they’ve glossed over. Despicable.

TheRollingCrone · 10/12/2018 18:07

I watched in horror when her hands went into tremor. This fucker will kill a woman. I cannot understand why he's not in prison already.

Dimsumlosesum · 10/12/2018 18:08

They don't give a shit. Just "men being men, having a laugh". Whoops, made a woman pass out and gave her permanent facial paralysis", har har har aren't we men hilarious.

AnyFucker · 10/12/2018 18:15

Fucking hell that is appalling. He appears to be saying something quietly as he applies pressure and she goes down like a fucking sack of spuds

He looks built and she is tiny. Christ.

Grace212 · 10/12/2018 18:23

OMD looks like he was trying to kill her.

AnyFucker · 10/12/2018 18:26

He very nearly managed it

Emptyspace · 10/12/2018 18:31

I agree he’s done that before.

I am going to this club next week for a Christmas do and it’s seriously put me off.

AllAboutHallowsEve · 10/12/2018 18:34

Empty space - can you and others going cancel the booking and tell them why?

Emptyspace why would you go? To me that's supporting this club and its mentality

LikeDust · 10/12/2018 18:41

Yes I think the fact she couldn't remember what had happened means she must have started seeing dots and passed out quite quickly - that and the stiffening of her arms. There are probably other women who can't quite remember something similar. Is he a bouncer? If he is - I'll bet there are customers he has done it to.

bringbacksideburns · 10/12/2018 18:41

I think you should be bloody protesting outside it never mind going in it for Christmas lunch.
Particularly if that weirdo is still working there.

If I was a woman living in that area i'd be boycotting it.

Avegemitesandwich · 10/12/2018 18:42

Yes, it looks like something he has done for 'a laugh' before, or he has heard about it from mates and wanted to try it out.

The way he was grinning as she went down is fucking sick. If he had genuinely been giving her a hug and she fainted he would have been mortified and concerned and that would be obvious.

It reminds me of that film 'Donkey Punch': these things that men like to 'try out' on women.

Absolute piece of shit.

SonicVersusGynaephobia · 10/12/2018 18:43

He's the chef, apparently.

Emptyspace · 10/12/2018 18:43

No I won’t go. Even though I assume he is not working there now, the directors are obviously still in place.

Avegemitesandwich · 10/12/2018 18:44

I am going to this club next week for a Christmas do and it’s seriously put me off.

Sorry, but there is no way I would be going to that club and supporting the scum management. And I'm not just saying that because I don't live near. This is a good opportunity to make a stand.

Whisky2014 · 10/12/2018 18:45

So the end if the article says a 33 yr old man was arrested and released under investigation. What does that mean?

Avegemitesandwich · 10/12/2018 18:45

Sorry I cross posted there with you emptyspace

Whisky2014 · 10/12/2018 18:45

What makes you think he isnt there anymore empty?

Natsku · 10/12/2018 18:50

That was really fucking disturbing to watch. I don't understand how the other people there could just watch him do that and not try to stop him.

BlancheM · 10/12/2018 18:52

Whoa it's not empty's fault the 'do is being held there, part of the problem about this is that it's quite obscure. I'd never have heard about this if I hadn't seen it here I don't think- which is disgusting. It's no biggy, just a murderer in the making caught on camera and not many people giving a fuck. That's how hated we all are, from the top of the country down to these runts at the bottom.
A beautiful young woman it happened to as well. That provokes rage in some men.

Emptyspace · 10/12/2018 19:04

I’ve no idea if he works there or not. He kept his job at first at least. I said I assume he has gone as this story has recently hit the press and the article says he is under police investigation.
