I’ve been contacted by the GMC about my complaint and they are asking for any more info. Has anyone got any screenshots etc that I could add to what I’ve provided. Decision on action on 21st December

I am heartened by the letter I got though that says they are reviewing their position.

Delighted to hear that the GMC are finally getting their act together. I’m a doctor myself, and disgusted by Harrop’s behaviour.
He could hardly bring the profession further into disrepute if he clog danced naked in a recruitment video for ISIS.

In addition to the really nasty stuff, he's also just really unprofessional. He recently tweeted about how a trans child had been unjustly snatched away from their mother by the family courts, his whole evidence being a friend of the mother's crowdfunder. The idea that he has a professional responsibility for safeguarding is scary.

Yes that one is important to list ^ a clear lack of understanding around safeguarding. He does not know the details about the case, he should know that there would be far more to it than he knows, and most importantly the tweet was easy to link to the people involved irl. Totally unacceptable from a professional. I'd get the sack for that without a doubt.
