I’ve been contacted by the GMC about my complaint and they are asking for any more info. Has anyone got any screenshots etc that I could add to what I’ve provided. Decision on action on 21st December

The use of ‘cretinous’ is unprofessional for a doctor to use - especially as a term of abuse. It’s basically like calling someone ‘mong’ or ‘spaz.’

Is there any proof that MuslimahIslam is his sock? I've seen it claimed alot but not sure. If it was provable that would surely be the nail in his coffin, as that account is VILE.

And racist/islamophobic etc etc etc. Hope they discover who it really is.

He tweeted sneeringly and unprofessionally about natural term breastfeeding (reference to a book Anne Sinnott wrote on the subject).

The woman who Harrop and Jessen harassed over struggling to adjust to motherhood was - if I remember correctly - Mel North.
She might be able to provide screenshots and permission to use them.

One question. By doing all this publicly doesn’t it look like a nasty conspiracy/pile-on?

FTR I am in total agreement that I would refuse to be treated by Dr Harrop or let any of my family be treated by him either, or will these public threads full of worries women be enough to make the GMC think twice?

We need to be clear that it’s not about his pro-trans activism but the contemptuous and unprofessional attitude displayed towards women, including threats of harassment and doxing.

If people were complaining about his pro-trans activism the GMC would not be taking them seriously.

People are complaining about his blatant misogyny, harrassment and doxxing of women. And the GMC are taking them seriously.

It’s a good question, and one I’ve worried about too. But how else can the information be brought together to show how bad it’s been? He has attacked so many people and alarmed and intimidated many more with his behaviour, but who will have saved every attack and every inappropriate comment to then put in a complaint that captures it all?

It’s the sheer volume and range of his inappropriate tweets that makes me think the GMC should be aware of it and without coming together to gather evidence I don’t know how this can be demonstrated. There are plenty of pro trans people who don’t behave so abominably, this isn’t about that.

If only it was against GMC rules to be an arse crawling sycophant, he'd be struck off tomorrow. In case you were wondering, PL has got a job at Vogue, not the UN.
