Thanks for the heads up - will tune in. I hope Rosa drills down on the conflation of sex & gender & the need to for clear unambiguous terms in law.

Coyoacan · 25/11/2018 19:48

Thanks for the tip

Hackedoffwoman · 25/11/2018 20:31

KenDoddsDadsDogsDead18 · 25/11/2018 20:46

This Alex Sharpe? Angry

Is this the episode Woman's Hour were encouraging lesbians to write in for with our views or have I already missed that one? As it's the law relating to sex and gender I'm wondering if Alex will be putting forward their views on whether lesbians should be allowed to choose not to have sex with people with penises on the basis of their sex (rather than their gender identity).

I'll be f**king furious if the BBC are putting that forward as a valid viewpoint (ie that women should not have the right to our own sexual boundaries and that lesbians should have sex with people with penises) - although I hope it would wake up a lot of listeners to what is going on.

Angryresister · 25/11/2018 21:34

I don't think they have done the lesbian one yet

NeurotrashWarrior · 25/11/2018 21:36

Awesome, there will be a boob enforced nap at 9:55.

NeurotrashWarrior · 25/11/2018 21:37

(Baby of course)

BoreOfWhabylon · 25/11/2018 23:22

I do hope it's Jane Garvey again.

doublethink · 25/11/2018 23:42

What a bloody shame they didn't do this series a couple of months ago Hmm. But good that's it's getting some focus now.

Destinysdaughter · 26/11/2018 00:02

Thanks for the heads up OP!

CaptainWarbeck · 26/11/2018 07:42

Bet it will be Jane Garvey, Jenni Murray has already outed herself as gender critical so not a neutral interviewer.

AbsintheFriends · 26/11/2018 07:58

Jane Garvey is the regular presenter on Monday and Tuesday, which is why they covered the gender issue on those days last week, but took a break from it on Jenni Murray's days. Trans twitter would boil over with frothing outrage if JM was allowed to host the discussion.

NeurotrashWarrior · 26/11/2018 08:05

Which one of you is Jenni....!

Melamin · 26/11/2018 09:40

There should be a meme for that Grin

Threewheeler1 · 26/11/2018 09:44

Thanks kesstrel Smile
Tuning in to be entertained very shortly.
Hope it's a good one. I like Rosa a lot, especially after her Sally Hines analysis Grin

PencilsInSpace · 26/11/2018 09:48

Alex Sharpe thinks the EA exceptions should be repealed.

Knicknackpaddyflak · 26/11/2018 09:53

Is this Alex Sharpe of the 'no, you should have no right to honesty from the person you're about to have sex with, and if you get a nasty surprise, you should have no right to report it' fame?

If so please can we air that one to the general public and let them make an informed choice about enabling it?

EmpressAdultHumanFemale · 26/11/2018 09:58

Bet it will be Jane Garvey, Jenni Murray has already outed herself as gender critical so not a neutral interviewer.

Jenni Murray was one of the first women to be ripped apart by the TRAs on Twitter. I don't blame her for not wanting to be chewed up & spat out again.

Budgieinaberet · 26/11/2018 10:02

Well I'm sitting comfortably . . .

NannyMcWhatThe · 26/11/2018 10:04

Thanks for the heads up! Listening now. They should ask Joan what she thinks.

Budgieinaberet · 26/11/2018 10:06

Joan will not care how people present, but a man in the Ladies - no way
