Announcement about ManFriday

With great sadness the ManFriday team would like to announce that we have decided to hang up our beards and bring ManFriday to an end.
It's been a brilliant year and we've achieved so much but with the FPFW campaign and so much other things going on we feel the group has run it's course.

While we won't be actively campaigning our Twitter will remain open drawing attention to the cause and you can still buy feminist bags and badges on etsy and Facebook

We'd like to thank everyone who has supported ManFriday right from the start, all the women that have worked in the background as well as those participating in direct action.

Oh wow that's sad ☹️ but completely understandable given the harassment you get.

I think it was a brilliant initiative and achieved so much so thank you brave feisty women for putting yourselves out there for exposing the nonsense (with humour too!) for the sake of all of us.

It really bought home the point that most men really do not believe the ideology in the least when it directly affects them (no matter how loud they are with the 'why can't you just be nice, budge up and all get along' noises when it's women's boundaries that are in the frame)

Your stunts are one of the things that put it on my radar so a personal thank you too for that. 💐
