I haven’t been following OJ’s defence of Jeremy Corbyn’s antisemitism but his threat to sue if Joe Maugham doesn’t pay £250 to both Live Not Hate and Jewdas because of criticisms Maugham made about Jones looks like extortion to me.

I'd watch IACGMOOH if that ninny's career ever stalls enough for him to be reduced to doing it.

From what I understand
OJ defended Corbyn’s commemoration of an antisemitic terrorist saying “no one ever died from a wreath”.

Jo Maugham then said “I'm afraid that, when Owen suggested it was fine to celebrate anti-Jewish terrorism, he crossed a line from which there is no easy returning.”

To which OJ has taken huge offence and demanded that Maugham donate to the named charities, lest OJ sue him, I guess. For what I’m not quite sure.

OJ’s actions do fulfill the requirements for blackmail under the Theft Act, I believe.

Because of a libellous tweet Jack Monroe threatened legal action against Katie Hopkins unless she made a donation to a migrant's charity. KH didn't make the donation, JM won the case.

I think the implication is that OJ will be Jack Monroe to Maugham's Hopkins. However being a QC I suspect Maugham isn't too worried.
