What on earth is wrong with the man? A medical doctor, on a public forum, making not-very-veiled threats to others who happen to hold a different opinion on things. Perfectly ordinary, decent people like Harry and Caro whom he's taken a dislike to.

I wouldn’t usually go after someone’s job, especially a doctor’s who, I imagine, does very well in his chosen profession. However, tacit threats of violence whilst identifying my workplace and my home address is not something I can easily forgive, especially seeing the effect it’s had on my Wife. The man is a disgrace.

He is, Harry. I most certainly wouldn't want to be one of his patients.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of deplatforming or any of that palaver, but the man is making extremely sinister posts threatening people he disagrees with ideologically. There's really no equivalence between that kind of fucked up open intimidation and disagreeing with a uni lecturer over what the word 'woman' means. We need to stop pretending that he has any justification for his behaviour and that he should be shielded from the consequences because we're so fair minded we'll put up with any thuggery under the guise of free speech.

Free speech, says the free speech advocate, allows you to make your views known. Intimidation and threats have never been a part of legitimate free speech. They are antithetical to the whole idea.

Looks like personality disorder to me. If so, that's definitely a reason why he shouldn't be practising in any way that is in contact with patients, IMO.

He's going to find a bit of climate change has happened when he returns from New Zealand.
It's been very peaceful not having him erupting over all the good news stories that have happened recently. I've enjoyed the holiday too.

I don't feel comfortable living in a country where NHS doctors think that behaviour is acceptable. Surely he should have been trained to know better?

I couldn't last night - someone on twitter said they were gone so I had a look and there were none there then. Weird.

I think he's home. He's uploaded his favourite pics to Instagram. My bet is he will quietly melt away from Twitter. And with Gids under fire he may we'll decide that private gender GP isn't looking like such an attractive career option after all.

There are many screen shots of his tweets, the GMC have also been sent pages of evidence of his batshittery. So he can go ahead and delete everything but that doesn’t mean a thing regarding his future employment chances.
