That thread is brilliant. About 200 replies, 195+ of them some variation on "I was an ally, but then you called me TERF, threatened me with rape, told me to die in a fire, called me a genital fetishist for being a lesbian. Well, guess what? You're on your own guys."

Just to say hello by the way. Pretty new here - I drifted over about 8 weeks ago when a colleague mentioned one of the treads about the GRA. Have been following ever since. I do have several GC friends, but it is reassuring to find so many more women who are as concerned as I am about what is happening.

And even with all these replies, no hint at all of "Oh fuck, we really need help, better at least listen to these women & try to meet them halfway." Just more abuse, as if that will work.

So the TRAs are piling more abuse on in the expectation that maybe this time it will convert everyone to their way of thinking. But, strangely, it doesn't. Empress isn't the definition of stupidity doing the same thing over and over but expecting to get a different result? Who'd have thought these people could possibly be stupid?

Yes, great thread- I’ve been following this Twitter thread too, and it is pretty gratifying to watch. Absolutely brilliant to see lesbians saying, among other things: ‘never shit on your own doorstep’. Also love the guy who describes himself as ‘a tran’. I’ve seen that used a few times by GC trans people and it really makes me laugh!
