Cafe in Deptford banning women who say things they don’t like.

The Greenhouse in Detford had this sticker sign up.
Given the tiny number of trans people who must come through their doors compared to the large number of women, and that the likelihood of any of those women “intimidating” transpeople is pretty much nil, then wtf is this about ? I’m finding this banning of women who hold different opinions deeply sinister.

My feminism does include all women, it just doesn't include men.

I've seen lots of photos of similar notices, on twitter. Lots of businesses jumping on the bandwagon. They obviously think Terfs are some weird shadowy figures who would never actually be using their businesses, so they're not risking losing money. It seems to be very prevalent in Canada.

This is local to me and doesn't surprise me at all. It's also very close to Goldsmiths Uni (woke central) so I'm sure that's who they're trying to appeal to.

Never mind holding different opinions, if you are a lesbian who is only attracted to women (an actual lesbian, in other words) you count as a terf, so these signs are openly homophobic.

Shame its not in my town so that I can avoid it. Given that I have been striding around my town in my Adult Human Female T-shirt on full display, I think they would drive me out of Detford with pitchforks

Their disingenuous reply was even more annoying than the notice.

If I was running a business like a cafe, I think I’d be trying to welcome the real women who comprise over 50% of my customers, not virtue signalling for “woke” brownie points to the less than 0.5% of the population who might be gender dysphoric.
Hope they get boycotted by all the women who are angry at being silenced while our rights to safety and privacy are being thrown under the bus.

How can they have the nerve to object to people who don't include ALL women, and in the very next breath say that they're not going to include ALL women?!

Do "TERFS" cease to be female in their eyes in some way? Does the holding of views that some misogynists object to render women actually sexless in their eyes? Are only 'nice' girls, who say and do exactly what men tell them allowed to be female now?!

Well, they rowed back pretty quickly. Think they've had a bit of a shock at the pasting they've had on twitter. So dreadful when you think you'll get brownie points for being woke, and instead you're given your tea in a mug.

Their defensive tweet reads to me like they're a bit scared at the idea that the police might get involved.
We must stand up to this shit. Boycotting isn't going to be a clear enough message.
