Is Ash Sarkar the stupidest person alive?

Bar Corbyn that is.
She has literally gone on twitter and posted a search she claims as proof that Julie bindel doesn’t care about women in prison.
Julie fucking bindel. Who founded justice for women. Who I’ve been aware of for what, 30 years? Since I developed feminist awareness, as someone involved in fighting for the rights of women in the CJS.
I mean, I know ash was almost literally born yesterday, but I wasn’t that stupid at her age

Ironically, from the way Ash has described her mum, feminist social worker and political activist, I suspect Mummy Sarkar and Julie would probably find a lot of common cause re the women prisoners activities. She should've asked her mum before tweeting.

BoreOfWhabylon · 20/10/2018 12:03

Anyone got screenshots of Adrain's contributions? He has form for taking them down and then denying.

deepwatersolo · 20/10/2018 12:06

I believe Thomas Friedman is the stupidest person alive, considering his fawning over Yemen bombing (and now journalist offing) king bin Salman, his inability to understand why debt matters in economic models (which is why he and his ilk of neoclassic economists could not predict the 2008 meltdown) and his Iraq war cheerleading and justification (to show em. And because we could).
That said, Ash is clearly a favorite in the competition of stupidest woman alive - and she may well win it, if the competition is closed for the bepenised sort of ‚women‘.

She's a bloody hero and we're damn lucky to have her.

YES!

Good post Hackmum

LorettasBox · 20/10/2018 12:19

I didn't actually know specifically about Bindel's involvement in this work until all this trans silliness blew up and I went from sleepy mum and wife struggling through life with a vague sense of frustration at how bloody unfair it all seemed, to full blown RadFem who refuses to be cowed by bullies out to shut women up and worse.

So, in a very backhanded way for which they will receive no thanks or respect at all, the AWAs introduced me to her.

She is a bloody marvel.

Floisme · 20/10/2018 12:36

Recent tweet from Julie Bindel (sorry I can't do a link at the moment):

Ash Sarkar, I have come to realise since doing a quick google search, was one of the thugs that tried to get me no platformed by the Salford Working Class library last year, where I was asked to do a talk on growing up as a working class lesbian in the north east of England.

ZuttZeVootEeVro · 20/10/2018 13:05

I don't think Ash is stupid, I think Ash is dishonest.

I agree. She just wanted to discredit Julie, and knew that most of her followers wouldn't know or care about the truth.

Invisible1234 · 20/10/2018 13:25

Totally over-entitled and completely unaware.

Big buddies with Shonky Fake so I wouldn't expect any enlightenment to happen.

hellandhairnets · 20/10/2018 13:53

She's another privileged gobshite, that's all. Socialist, my arse - it's just a cool edgy identity for attention. Totally teenage.

You'll learn, Ash, love.

LangCleg · 20/10/2018 13:56

The revolution will be merchandised.

By Novara t-shirts and Ash's latest manicure.

Ereshkigal · 20/10/2018 15:43

The likes of Ash Sarker are what the words "silly little handmaiden" were invented for

Yep.

GrabEmByThePatriarchy · 20/10/2018 19:27

Julie is retweeting Ash's failtweet every day until she gets an apology.

Ash is doing a great job.

When I learnt about transgender ideology it seemed profoundly shocking that people on here were saying that transwomen are men. I could see everything that was being said made sense but ultimately I was so worried about being unkind. It's hard abandoning any ideology. I read the Twitter accounts of a few prominent trans people and at (very) first glance they seemed to want nothing more than a bit of kindness and consideration. I stopped and had to really wrestle with what I thought was the correct position in all this. Surely if TRA's are having such success changing so much in society they must have a rational considered argument, I thought.

Ash just increases my confidence that I am on the right side here. She's surely one of the most intelligent people on the TRA side and this is what she comes out with? It's just ridiculous. Actually it's insulting. She will never achieve what Bindel has. It's actually a bit concerning she's a lecturer.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 20/10/2018 20:27

There are people who get stuff done and then there are people who sit around talking about getting stuff done.

herecomesyourwoman · 20/10/2018 20:42

So I was googling, as I can see claim of Ash being an academic and lecturing at Anglia Ruskin. Yet I can find no trace of her on their website. Or anywhere else really.

Is it that she did a guest lecture so is claiming that? Guest lecturing from someone with particular knowledge or experience is common, but they're not the academics. It just means they can talk a bit about something of use. The academics would frame that guest lecture within a broader academic framework. That really isn't quite the same as being a lecturer/academic.

Or was she really a lecturer but no more?

Or just missing from their website?

It reminds me of the guy from the bullying charity who got an honorary and called himself Dr.

Amortentia · 20/10/2018 21:00

I saw her mention she was going to teach a seminar, is she a doctoral student maybe? Please tell me that she is not involved in the Social Sciences. Luxury communism, wtf?

nicenewdusters · 20/10/2018 21:58

"They see a very kind very earnest vegetarian who makes jam."

Who d'you think Ash is talking about here on her Instagram account?

You'll never guess so I'll just tell you.

Jeremy Corbyn.

LassWiADelicateAir · 20/10/2018 22:01

She has stiff competition for the title but is a strong contender.

UpstartCrow · 20/10/2018 22:02

There is literally nothing any of us could have posted that could make Julie Bindel look this good to this many people.

KatVonGulag · 20/10/2018 22:10

Truth crow

Freespeecher · 20/10/2018 22:57

I had a vague recollection of her calling for a 'radical antifascist movement' which came across as perhaps slightly worrisome.

She also refers to the prospect of a Corbyn government as 'jam tomorrow' which, if deliberate, is borderline genius (which is why I suspect it wasn't).

AngryAttackKittens · 20/10/2018 23:02

I can't say that "kind, earnest, makes jam" would be my first impression of Corbyn, or how I'd describe him to others.

LassWiADelicateAir · 20/10/2018 23:18

Nor me AngryAttackKittens.

Setting aside trans issues I see people like her and just think you rant and rave about socialism and smashing capitalism yet you personally are no good for anything.

You don't make anything, you don't help anyone, you don't do anything to make anything better, you don't provide any goods or services, you don't create anything funny or enlightening or pleasurable to look at, read or listen.

Yet I would bet the last £ have before Corbyn and McConnell take it from me , either in tax or because their lunatic policies have destroyed the economy and my business that there will always be funding available for the likes of Ash to be an adviser to some pointless and useless quango.

LorettasBox · 20/10/2018 23:25

Lass, in other social media, you'd get a like from me for that comment. Excellent.
