She has literally gone on twitter and posted a search she claims as proof that Julie bindel doesn’t care about women in prison.
Julie fucking bindel. Who founded justice for women. Who I’ve been aware of for what, 30 years? Since I developed feminist awareness, as someone involved in fighting for the rights of women in the CJS.

Just remembered that I had seen her before. On GMTV during the Trump visit. Watched it just now to remind myself. She was part of the anti Trump movement, but Piers Morgan took her apart for not knowing, even roughly, how many immigrants Obama had deported. She only offered thousands, it was over 3 million.

I'm no fan of Trump or Morgan, but I think his point was valid that someone in her position should have had a grasp of those sort of statistics.

I don't think she deals in facts or statistics. She's more about a generalised sort of... offended outrage.

She operates according to the current rules of social media. The content of what you say doesn't matter, so long as it gets attention. The same approach as Trump.

I just read that thread. She calls herself a journalist and then posts her ‘research’ - a Twitter search showing Julie Bindel has not tweeted about Sarah Reed. She calls that ‘evidence’ that Bindel doesn’t care about women in prison. She couldn’t even google Julie Bindel?? She really knows so very little about Julie Bindel that she wasn’t aware?

Someone has posted a photo of Bindel with a released female prisoner whom she helped get out of prison before Sarkar was born on that thread. It’s such a clear illustration of Sarkar’s utter, total, complete foolishness.

I honestly can’t believe the stupidity and the arrogance. Sarkar hasn’t commented on it and has left the tweet standing without a word. She is incapable of either defending herself or admitting that she’s wrong and apologising.

I really hope she gets sued.

The twitter thread is hilarious love the comment ‘writes like a supermodel, fucks up like a champion’ plus Julie’s and Janice’s comments. Cheered me up on a Friday as the media coverage over the last couple of days has been a bit deflating.
