Excellent! I'll be watching Newsnight but am wrong area for BBC SE.

Melamin · 18/10/2018 09:33

Katherine Stock has written some very good stuff.

I can get the BBC regions on my freesat - what about I-player?

thatdamnwoman · 18/10/2018 09:36

Oh, well done BBC. The night before the consultation closes you interview one of the leading voices on this subject. Cutting edge stuff...

We're not going to forget this, BBC. We looked to you for impartiality and information and you failed us. We're half the population and the BBC, the Guardian and the Labour party all ignored our concerns.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 18/10/2018 09:57

Wow, just wow. Talk about too little, too late.
Bbc's coverage of this has been nakedly, disgracefully biased. There should be an inquiry into the whole thing.

WomanDictionaryDefined · 18/10/2018 10:13

Why is it the BBC get money from the UK public to completely ignore a law change affecting over half the viewing audience until the last few days?

It is a lot of money too. I am going to enjoy spending that money elsewhere.

2BorNot2Bvocal · 18/10/2018 14:16

Bump

NotANotMan · 18/10/2018 14:17

Fuck the BBC. They will never see another penny of licence fee from me.

RosaNullaSpina · 18/10/2018 16:01

I’m sure she’ll be more than a match for them if they try to stitch her up. Or maybe they only want to have her on so that they can say ‘hey, angry wimmenz, see, we didn’t ignore this!'

Chocolala · 18/10/2018 16:07

Can’t we complaint to the BBC trustees about the level of bias and anti-women behaviour the BBC has displayed?

orcani · 18/10/2018 18:43

Have I missed it?

ImPreCis · 18/10/2018 18:49

WAtching now. Woman in refuge not able to be with Male Bodied people. Stonewall and SOphie Cook, now Prof Stock.

orcani · 18/10/2018 18:54

I can only get BBC London

ImPreCis · 18/10/2018 20:13

Well, I hope there is more of Prof Stock on Newsnight. I would say this was a tick box exercise to be able to say that they had covered the issue. Although it was good that’s they started the piece with a woman and her son in a refuge. They did make reference to Maria Caulfield, MP for Lewes, who has recently found a mildly GC voice. It could have been worse, they could have interviewed Lloyd Russell-Moyle Brighton MP, who I think has been very quiet about this, strangely (although I don’t do Twitter, so could be wrong).

AspieAndProud · 18/10/2018 20:20

Remember before the Brexit vote when nobody talked about it at all until the week of the referendum?

Of course you don’t.

People can argue over whether the Brexit reporting was biased or not but nobody can say they weren’t battered around the head constantly by both parties for months.

So why zero discussion till this week?

OldCrone · 18/10/2018 22:31

Newsnight starting now.
