So who have you convinced to respond to the GRA consultation?

I have got my parents and my sister to submit FPFW’s one click response, plus my sister’s friend has done it too. Myself and my partner have filled it out the long way, and another woman who works with me who I alerted is filling it out for herself and with her elderly mother, plus she said there were two other women filling it out after she told them about it. So that’s nine people who wouldn’t have done it if I hadn’t brought their attention to it, plus there could be other people who I don’t even know about, people who I’ve given leaflets to, people who have seen my posts on social media and people who I’ve chatted to on the bus etc. That’s quite a ripple effect.

Who have you got to fill out the consultation?

Our gay friends. It started with men telling us about leaving Grindr, and lesbian friends and the cotton ceiling. So they already got it.
Unfortunately they are upset as they have realised many of their straight friends don't get it and just cant be bothered - its a long consultation. This is going to have long term repercussions on our friendship group.

I’ve just got another old friend to do the FPFW response, and I’ve messaged a few more. I trying to rally the troops. I have to have a big operation tomorrow so this afternoon will be my last opportunity. I’m bloody determined though.

A number of women in my group of online friends (double figures, at least a dozen I think.)
A couple of women IRL, who have gone on to tell their relatives and friends about it.
OH away at the moment but he will fill it in when he gets back on Friday.
I am banging on about it every day this week on my own social media in an attempt to round up stragglers!

DH, dd and a handful of friends. About 6 that I know have filled it in. But I picked my gobbiest friends (love them all!) so hopefully they will have passed on the message to others.

I think 9 including myself. I painstakingly worked with family on 7. Then the blooming easy 1 click came out!

Sent this to a couple of friends so I think 9.
It all adds up.

I leafletted with FPFW and have also leafletted on my own. Today I did a mailshot through letter boxes.

But when you look at the massive events (now with Teresa May and Penny) that Stonewall accesses and today's Metro add it seems so unfair.

We know most people would oppose this but they don't realise what's at stake.

My mum, my partner, my aunt, 3 cousins, best friend and her cousin and Mum, 4 other friends and im hoping to convince a few more tomorrow, including MIL. Have also left leaflets around town.

Ooh also spoke to a couple of people at a local Lib Dem meeting, one of whom seemed to get it straight away and who I sent the one click response to so I’m hoping that she completes it and gets others to as well. She’s a key figure in lots of the village committees etc so I’m hoping she will spread the word.
