Dear @MNHQ. I do not have any gender, because as I'm sure you know, I don't believe in gender as a characteristic that people 'have', only as a stereotypical role people of a sex are expected to perform.

Therefore, as you currently hold some 'gender' data on me that states:
Barracker, Gender = Female
AND as that data is both false and I do not consent for you to hold it, please delete that specific piece of data from my personal information at your earliest convenience.

(If you would care to capture data on my biological sex, I would be delighted to offer you that data. Do let me know as soon as you create a field to capture my sex data. This should also assist you if you intend to monitor or analyse data on the Equality Act 2010 regarding the protected characteristic sex.)

this may be filled in as appropriate for the individual (FB has upwards of 70 gender identities so it would be unwise to incude a drop-down box as more genders are likely to emerge over time) or left blank for those without a gender identity.

That's confirmation that even if the law enshrined a lie, reality - the reality of ACTUAL BIOLOGICAL SEX supercedes that legal lie. In other words, a transwoman may claim to be the same legal sex as me, but the law STILL differentiates between me and him* demonstrating that reality still trumps a big fat legal lie. And how could the law possibly ascertain the difference between him and me if we are both 'legally female'?

1. I have no gender, but I am biologically female.
2. He claims a gender, and remains biologically male.

Go to the 'about you' tab
It asks your gender, not your sex.

Notvery the point of the GRA was to circumvent the prohibition of same sex marriage. Literally the only reason we're in this state now is because some MPs and Lords were so outrageously homophobic that they decided to create the legal lie that males can become females. They would rather allow us to pretend humans can change sex than allow people to marry within their own sex.

Endeavour would you say that to a transperson, or one who complained about being misgendered?
